Little Red Address book/Sofia Lundberg; A Passage to India/Edward Morgan Forster; Thirteen/Steve Cavanaugh and many more. Happy Summer reading!
Let's see, if summer is 3 months long, and I'm on track to read 120 books this year, I guess there are 30 books to look forward to.I have no idea what they will be, but should include John Sandford and Louise Penny at least. Beyond that, whatever is new at the library and appeals to me in the moment.

It started of with the sun shining over the mountains and wow what a marvelous day it was , grateful.. Reading enlightens my life.No doom and gloom..
Surprised that Goodreads would promote Jordan Peterson's work (mentioned in the Goodreads employee recs list).
I'm hoping to reread The Lunar Chronicles this summer! It's been too long since I've read them and it's one of my favorite series :)
Hoping to read the rest of the Kiranmala & the Kingdom Beyond sereis, Hollowpox (Morrigan Crow), Legend born and the Red Queen Series
Maral wrote: "for this summer, i've got a plan to read the lord of the ring books and Hobbit! and i'm really excited :)"Those are my absolute favorite books. I'm sure you'll love them!

I also have a long want-to-read list and many waiting in line. My motto is "Never be without a book".
Rose wrote: "I have a whole bunch of queer reads planned for Pride Month - no straight authors allowed lol. After that I'll just see what I feel like for July and August, though I have pre-ordered Malibu Rising..."Please share some of the authors you will be reading for Pride Month! Always on the lookout for
awesome LGBT+ reads!!
It's not summer in most of the world. This ethnocentrism is arrogant and alienating to much of your membership. Year after year your members point it out; year after year you do it. It's no longer thoughtlessness; it's belligerence now.
Free Food For Millionaires by Min Jin Lee is definitely on my list as well as A Certain Age and Cocoa Beach by Beatriz Williams.
Nina wrote: "I will read The Blood of Olympus and then Six of Crows this summer!"Six of Crows yes!!
I love that book
i think i'll finish reading still alice before i moved to sapiens and the other books that i'm not finished in 2020
The Premonition, A Farewell to Arms, Anne of Green Gables, A Sense of Where You Are ... this will be a good start

I don't read e-books, but I am the same way with books. I have tons of books I want to read, and I am always discovering new books. I have lots of books at home, and tend to borrow several at the time from the library, and base what I want to read on my mood.
can´t wait to read, you´ve reached sam, the mockingjay series, divergent series and whatever else comes along the way
Esther wrote: "I hope to get started on 1Q84 series. Bought it second handed last spring and is on my tbr-list for a long time :)"I've read it twice! Such a phenomenal series. Enjoy! :)

Yes I've read it and I agree. The other one that I discovered that I loved was Carry the World by Susan Fanetti, also about the packhorse librarians.

"Kingdom of the Cursed" Kerri Maniscalco"Turtles All the Way Down" John Green
Two definites added to my reading list this summer!

I'm a glutton for punishment. It really depends on what I feel like reading at the time.
Hope to read That Summer...our library has a contest for children and adults I will be joining that.
I want to read again The Wheel of Time, I hope the whole collection this time - I never had the chance (and the time) to read the last three books...
This summer, I'm reading some classics with my kids. Gonna turn it into adventures. On the list is Treasure Island and Alice in Wonderland & Through the Looking Glass. I also have some Hitchcock Presents and Sherlock Holmes to catch up on.
Having just joined audible i have decided to listen to a chapter or two and then go back and read the corresponding chapters on my e-reader.I do not use whispersynch .As i am ancient, at times i doze when listening to an audible book.By listening and reading i do not miss content that is important to the plot. The Secret Agent by Joseph Conrad is my first read using this method. As i subscribed to the dearest audible plan i have a lot of listening and reading to get through .I mainly listen and read books in the Public Domain.

I read what I'm in..."I am exactly the same way! I cannot plan out what I am going to read because I can never tell if I am going to want to stick with that genre or move into another one. Through the winter (COLD, DARK, AND DISMAL New England winters) I tend to read the dark, thrillers and mysteries. However when the temperatures warm up and it is ocean/beach time I like to pick fun but still interesting YA novels or silly quick romance novels.
My other fear is... what if I plan all this time for a book and I HATE IT?!?! Then do I wallow over hating that book?! Usually yes I do, which puts me in a book slump! LOL! Well, just wanted you to know that you are not alone in this "to be read" cycle. :-).
Probably some more fantasy, looking forward to starting the Witcher series and the Jack Ryan series soon.
I’ve just discovered the author Andrew J Brandt and devoured “Palo Duro” and “Treehouse”. His brand new release, “Mixtape for the End of the World” is up next, then I plan to read the rest of the books he already has out. Also going through the Harry Potter series as read alouds with my kids.
