Im looking forward to reading one last stop as well!
I make a list of 6 books from my very large home library. They are different genres. Some are the next book in a series and some are not. I like to mix it up. Then when I finish a book I go to the list and pick out my next read. It may depend on what I'm in the mood for at that moment. I might want to try an author I've never read before. I might just close my eyes and pick one. For me it's more fun not to know what's next.
I really want to say The Zero Signal, but I read the ARC months ago. It is, however, crack in near-future scifi form, so I may read it again.
I'm reading Fire Lover now. I just finished Sherlock Holms. I hope to finish the Harley Merlin series soon.

Wow, I didn't know there was a show about the wheel of time! Nice to know!
For this summer, I am escaping reality for the most part. Well, to be honest, I do that for the majority of my reading. :) Working my way through the entire "In Death" series, plus a few other Nora Roberts books. The books of Jayne Anne Krentz/Jayne Castle/Amanda Quick. And those of Darynda Jones. I have a few others on my "hold" list at the local library and, of course, anything that comes recommended by friends and that piques my interest. Oh, and I'll probably through a few "trashy" and/or paranormal romances in there as well. Why? Because I can. :)
Get some M/M sweetness and have a read at Prince
It's such a sweet, sexy and funny book. Gave me all the feels
Looking forward to reading essays from one of my favorite actresses/comedians/personalities, Casey Wilson.

And as shadow has proven, you can also have no taste in books.
I have pre-ordered Really Truly and Between Sea and Sky which both come out early this summer so I'm hoping to read those but other than that I don't know yet.
So many! But a few I'm excited to get to: Everyone Knows Your Mother Is A Witch
Gold Diggers
The Other Black Girl
Strange Weather In Tokyo
A Memory Called Empire
I hate planning what I'm going to read because I know I'll change my mind. So, I'm going to read mostly from the new arrival section at my library and some books from my favorite authors on Kindle Unlimited.
Melissa wrote: "And shall the Southern Hemisphere folks sit this one out? :)"Lol! True :-). Maybe we need to start a new thread for Winter Reads! I'm reading the Kingmaker series Winter Pilgrims and also anything I can find by Rory Clements

In my experience, most people judging the validity of other people's taste in, well, anything aren't very secure about their own. It's okay, buddy, you can like what you like AND let other people enjoy the things that make them happy. You don't have to put others down to feel better about yourself-- you can just live your life, like what you like, and not put more negativity out into the world just because somebody else expressed being happy about a thing you don't like that hurts literally no one. :)

I absolutely loved that series. If you enjoy it I recommend you follow it up with her standalone book "heartless"
