That's just rude Ion!
Everyone may have thier own taste in books.
I want to spend my summertime reading to geht further throug the wheel of time book series before the show comes out at the end of the year.
Hope everyone has some enjoyable reads this summer :)

I hope to get started on 1Q84 series. Bought it second handed last spring and is on my tbr-list for a long time :)
Craving some low-key beach setting reads and thriller/mystery. I have a lot of catching up with backlisted books yet to read and am looking forward to Malibu Rising by Taylor Jenkins Reid and Survive the Night by Riley Sager.
Am I the only one that doesn't plan what I'm reading ahead of time? I have in my possession about 150 books that I "want to read" along with that many available on library ebook. I read what I'm in the mood for or what would be easiest to handle at the time. When I travel, I load up my kindle. Right now I'm reading some obscure books about the packhorse librarians. After reading The Giver of Stars, I did a deep dive into other books on the subject. After I'm done with the one I'm reading now, I don't know what direction I'll go.
I'll probably be rereading a ton, and anything on my want to read list. I honestly can't tell you what I'll be reading, I never even know myself!
I plan on finishing the Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer and reading To Kill a Kingdom by Alexandra Christo!
I like to throw in at least one book that is "good for me" so I'm thinking either Middlemarch by George Eliot or Villette by Charlotte Bronte.

This comment is completely uncalled for.
You have no right to judge another's reading tastes or to make disparaging remarks about a member of the site.

I have a book that I preordered that comes out in June and that's definitely something I'm going to read once I get it, but other than that I don't have any big plans.

Juliana wrote: "I'll definitely read A Cuban Girl's Guide to Tea and Tomorrow!"This sounds like a great book.
hmmm.... this whole summer ill be rereading my favsthat includes...
Matched (the whole series). Great contemporary romance/dystopian/scifi book for your tastes
Divergent (i haven't read this in super long [time], but i know i enjoyed it a lot and decided to pick up my dusty bookshelf)
the whole riordanverse series is great, but i read every. flipping. one of them 100 times each, so I'm gonna take a break on that and start rereading Braced . This is a great relatable book about a girl who's stuck in a game of scoliosis, love, loyalty, and more. 100% recommend.
also Family Game Night and Other Catastrophes is a fun read.
lastly, Cinder and the whole Lunar Chronicles is one of the best fairytale retellings i ever read. recommend it 150%
Malibu RisingCannot wait for June 1st to get my hands on the new Taylor Jenkins Reid novel! Definitely my most anticipated read of the summer!
Nina wrote: "I will read The Blood of Olympus and then Six of Crows this summer!"Blood of Olympus is very good, read it asap!
I have a whole bunch of queer reads planned for Pride Month - no straight authors allowed lol. After that I'll just see what I feel like for July and August, though I have pre-ordered Malibu Rising, The Other Black Girl, Midsummer Mysteries and She Who Became the Sun : )
I am going to read Harry Potter books this summer. I have already read the first and second book, and watched the first and second movie

How about you let other people enjoy stuff
Nina wrote: "I will read The Blood of Olympus and then Six of Crows this summer!"Six of Crows is a definite must read! Hope you enjoy it!
I am so looking forward to reading Malibu Rising byTaylor Jenkins Reid
Also in my beach tote bag which I will be carrying to my backyard are:
Sunset Beach by Mary Kay Andrews
The Roxy Letters by Mary Pauline Lowry
Under the Southern Sky by Kristy Woodson Harvey
Lost Girls:An Unsolved American Mystery by Robet Kolker
Big Summer by Jennifer Weiner
I'm going to try to catch up on the YA fantasies every one talks about 😂
I'm going to try to read all the books on my to-read list, there's like over 100 lol, but I'm not really going to be doing anything else so I might actually be able to do it. Wish me luck!
They All Fall Down I'm currently reading this gem by Rachel Howzell Hall that is set on a secluded island, and seems to be read best during the summer. If you like closed-circle isolation mysteries where people die one by one, this is novel that should be on your list.

No, you’re not the only one. I do the same and likewise have an uncountable number of books on my TBR list, on my kindle, in the house etc. I just finished “In An Instant”, by Suzanne Redfearn and it was soo very good. “The End of Temperance Dare”, is next up, only because I got it in the mail on Friday. And I’m sucked in by the cover picture. Supposed to be scary. After I ordered it I realized I’ve read. A lot of this author’s books ( Wendy Webb) already and very much enjoyed them. So that’s my answer to your question, lol!
I will be reading Heartstopper: Volume Four after I get to the shops and buy it and I will also be reading One Last Stop when it comes out.
Kicking off the summer with the cozy mystery Blackwork. However, my husband just gifted me Horrorstör so I think I might have to shuffle my summer TBR!
Reading Realm Breaker By Victoria Aveyard, my summer plans are to finally read The whole Harry Potter collection !

too messy and complicated. :)

Maridele, If you haven't read it yet, you must read "The Bookwoman of Troublesome Creek" by Kim Michele Richardson! One of the best books I've read in the past couple of years. I'll hopefully be getting through the bottom shelf of my collection at home, which include Lord of the Rings and Treasure Island! Lord of the Rings will be a re-read, but the other one is new to me~

I read what I'm in the mood for, too. Right now I read the "Escape to New Zealand "Series again. "Just not Mine" is the next one and I begin reading it today.

looking forward to reading it
