The Top 100 YA Books on Goodreads
A battlefield where wild magic fills the air. A high school where a fierce rivalry transforms an entire town. A near-future wasteland where a group of misfits seeks something greater than survival…
This is the world of YA. Whether you're a lifelong fan or a curious reader looking to try something new, come along with us as we reveal the very best of the genre.
There are thousands of YA books, so how did we go about finding the most beloved ones on Goodreads? We started by focusing on what's been added the most to Goodreads members' shelves. But this isn't simply a popularity contest; we wanted the best. So we narrowed down our list to include only books with at least a four-star average rating. We also decided to select just the first book in a series—otherwise prolific authors like Leigh Bardugo, Marie Lu, and Sarah J. Maas would claim many more spots on this list.
And now, without further ado, we present the Top 100 YA Books, ranked by popularity on Goodreads. How many have you read? Tell us in the comments!

Though, anyone who read Thorn of Court and Roses would tell you, that should've been labelled as adult.
Also, Harry Potter is found in the children's section. :P
I've read 74 of these! Time to pick up the pace and make it 100!

Of those twelve, five of them I rated above three stars, meaning I actually enjoyed them. Yeesh.

Hahaha! :D Goodness, there are definitely a lot of those, but there are some pretty good ones too.
