That was one of the best mystery/thriller novels I've ever read in a long time. I also read BIG LITTLE LIES after such a LONG time as welI. I need to read more thrillers honestly. I feel like from the ones I have picked up before, there is something very eery and dark about the writing style(s) and about the characters too !
If you guys have any recommendations, let me know

IS THIS GOOD? I HEARD A LOT OF GREAT THINGS ABOUT IT AND I WANT TO ADD IT TO MY TBR BUT I DON'T KNOW WHY I'M SO CONFLICTED TO PICK IT UP HAHA

Sad the series ends at "Y" but I'm glad her family is honoring her request.

I just started a new author for me - Jussi Adler-Olsen . I began with
The Keeper of Lost Causes. So far I love it
Who has written the best: so many good authors and books and so little time.
My favorite is anything by Deaver, Coben, Box, Child, Connelly, Thor, Sandford, R. White, Craig Johnson, David Housewright, Krueger, Martini, and Stephen White to name a few.

You said it! It's the same with me.

Agatha Christie is my favorite and I have read almost everything by her. Going through the Harriet Vane - Lord peter mysteries now. I am on the last one of these, Busman's Honeymoon.

You are right. And Then There Were None is a stand-alone. :)

Coincidentally, I was just thinking of The Adventure of the Empty House from The Return of Sherlock Holmes and how much I like the story. I have read the complete Sherlock Holmes so many times that each story stands out clearly in my mind! Happy reading. :)

This is the one for my week... I'll Be Gone in the Dark: One Woman's Obsessive Search for the Golden State Killer

They are excellent! If you are looking for a great, new series-give this a try!

yes, too bad the movie turned out so awfully!

is this a real thing?

In the future, Zaira, use the other title for that book "And Then There Were None." "Ten Little Niggers" is incredibly offensive to me. It's sickening. I am African-American.

My friends in our local mystery book club tell me that Sara Paretsky's V. I. Warshawski character is just as intriguing as Grafton's famous sleuth Kinsey Millhone, so I'm sure I'll become a fan too.
Wow, those women sure know how to write suspense. I'm so impressed. I've also been watching all the Agatha Christie DVDs featuring her Miss Marple character. What fun! Classic mysteries, I love "em.

Also reading I, Ripper in search of gore 🤓

I would like to read MORTAL INSTRUMENTS by Cassandra Clare. Has anybody read it? How is it?

just finished reading Magpie Murders by Anthony Horowitz, most enjoyable
