A book written by someone under 30: Daniel Keys Moran, "Armageddon Blues" - he was 27 when he published it.

I love Dorian Gray! I find his plays to be very entertaining and funny(plus a bunch of them are free ebooks)!

Kristin ❋extols death with luminescent brilliance❋ wrote: "LOVE Dorian Gray! Memoirs of a Geisha is one of my favorites, can't wait to see what you think."I actually read MoaG when I was seventeen. I loved it at the time so much that I kept my old copy. I'm not sure how I'd feel about it now, so it'll be exciting going into it with semi-new eyes.

Awww none of yours match mine! Though I am curious to see what you think of The Count of Monte Cristo.... its going on my 2016 classics challenge.
My list is a bizarre mishmash of vintage bodice rippers/historicals and random ARCs I got from Netgalley. I have very weird taste in books LOL.I actually almost finished TCoMC but then I lost my place 70% of the way through and got so frustrated because I couldn't find my place haha. From what I remember, though, it was amazeballs. (Maybe I'll do that challenge with you!)
Also, if you want to do a buddyread, let me know what's on your tbr pile. I'm trying to get rid of my books, and buddyreads are great motivators to get finished with a book!

I have my list for this up, but none of yours match lol. My TBR is a crazy mishmash too, I know the feeling. I would love to buddy read with you, though :). If you can think of a swap out on my TBR list for one of my (to acquire) that would totally work for me.

Just posted the basic list, I don't know if I can do the whole thing in one year, but this looks like fun. :D

I haven't added any books yet to my list, but I do own wolf hall, and I haven't read it yet. When you are ready to read that, let me know. :)

*likewising* Also, Jess may stretch hers out longer, because we be challenge crazy. Totally no finite end date required ;)
This challenge is a really great way to get rid of some of my books that have been moldering around. Once I finish this one, I may very well do another with you ladies, because this is the most bookish fun I've had in ages.

@Nenia, For sure. Hopefully this one will be infinitely better than the one we are buddy reading now. LOL@Karly, oh good, because I tend to do multiple challenges at once, so ones that have no time limit are my faves. :P
They DID make a BBC series out of it, so I harbor hope that it is not completely terrible. I tend to trust BBC's judgments on such things.

I'm setting Dec 31 for myself but I'll only weep a little if I don't manage it! I also have the A to Z and multiple buddy-reads coming up lol
