Reviews of Apex April 2010

Wow. It is rare that I get a "hate" and a "love" review of the same thing on the same day. But that is what happens in the writing industry. Review of Masters of Horror anthology

Masters of Horror reviewed by Neil Colquhoun.

My story, Cost of Job Security, got a shout out as a favorite story. I love it when that happens. Especially in a collection as good as this one.

Close Encounters of the Urban Kind Author Interviews

A few of the PNW authors who grace the pages of my anthology, Close Encounters of the Urban Kind (Amazon | Kindle | Apex Publications) have been interviewing each other. I thought I would link them here for you all to enjoy as well.

And if you like the interviews, Apex Publications is running a daily Devotion for the newest anthology, Dark Faith, over here.

Review: The Ross-Allen Letters

Read the review of The Ross-Allen Letters by Jaym Gates. It is a good one.

You can get the Colonial Gothic supplement on DriveThruRPG and Kindle.

New Interview

I have a new interview on the David H. Burton site. It really was a fun one to do.

Come hear (read?) me talk about current projects, some upcoming projects and about support small press publishers.

Link heavy with lots of information.

Busy-busy but here's something for you.

My short story, The Cost of Job Security is in this anthology.

[image error] Welcome to a world hidden behind the blinds of reality, a landscape waiting to be molded into a thing of pain and torture.

This anthology is not for the faint-hearted. The ideas, themes, and disturbing images portrayed within these pages will send your brain into overdrive on the road to madness. This book is guaranteed to rob you of sleep at night by bringing you the nightmare you've most feared...

Carole Gill's "Truth Hurts," where...

An Icelandic volcano was not on the line

I have to admit, when [info:] amandapillar and I were hashing out the end of the world backstory for our award winning Grants Pass anthology [Amazon | Kindle | Morrigan Books], we never, ever thought to discuss Iceland's active volcano blowing its top and causing all the havoc it is causing now. Part of me wishes we had.
