In The Interview Room — Regan Walker
Today, lawyer turned romance author, Regan Walker joins me in the Interview Room to talk about her writing and her Regency stories.
What’s on your desk?
A lot. I like to see my work so I can grab something I need. If I put it away, I’m likely to forget it. My “desk” took over my dining room table a few years ago and now I have everything from my computer, my printer/scanner/copier, two stacks of notes on my works in progress (or for future works I envision), a stack of 8 different colored “stic...
And The Winner Is …
Congratulations to Lisa Reigel who’s the winner of my Box of Books contest. Her prize, a selection of books from my overflowing shelves, is on its way.
Want your chance to win? As soon as I hit 1500 “Likes” on my Facebook Author page, I’ll box up another batch to send to a lucky winner. (Sorry US residents because of postage, etc.). Share this post so more people find out about it. The sooner I hit 1500, the sooner I’ll open the new contest.

When I look at my day’s output, one of the things I check is the use of proper names versus pronouns. Is it always clear which character (or thing—“it” is a pronoun, too) I’m talking about?
How do you make sure your readers are follow...

In the Interview Room — LynDee Walker
Today I welcome LynDee Walker to the Interview Room. LynDee grew up in the land of stifling heat and amazing food most people call Texas, and wanted to be Lois Lane from the time she could say the words “press conference.”
Plotter or Pantser?
Hybrid. I write mystery, so I have to plot that out or I’d never finish a book, but the rest of the story is definitely fly-by-the-seat-of-my-pants. I usually start with the villain and the crime, then go backward to figure out how to get Nichelle to the a...
