What’s Cooking Wedesday – Orecchiette with Clams and Broccoli

Hubster tried the original version of this recipe, found in Food Network Magazine. It was a lot more trouble than he likes to spend and so he simplified it after giving it a try following the original procedure. If you are more adventurous, you can find that recipe here. What’s Cooking Wednesday – Spicy Corn Bread

This corn bread recipe was perfect with the Sloppy Joe Soup recipe I shared a while back.

Spicy Corn Bread

Spicy Corn BreadIngredients:
c canola oil
1 egg
1 c milk
c plain yogurt or sour cream
1 T sugar
1 c cornmeal
1 c flour
1 T baking powder
t baking soda
t salt
c grated sharp Cheddar
c canned chopped green chiles
2 T minced red bell pepper
3 T chunky salsa (heat level to taste)
Dash cayenne (to taste)
