Cat-tain’s Log: Episode 003

Cat-tain's Log Episode 003

If youre a cat owner, you know that cats carry an air of superiority around with them. After all, they were worshiped by many cultures, including the Egyptians. Many religious mythologies point to cats playing a role in both the gods and humans lives, so I guess theyve earned the right to be smug.

However smug they might be, theres always time to be goofy, as Riley has long demonstrated for us.

Cat-tain’s Log: Episode 002

Cat-tain's Log Episode 002

Riley never ceases to amaze me with his ability to look smug. Especially when Ive said something stupid.

If Im afraid of something, hes a mighty hunter who will swoop in and save the day, but cthulhu forbid I say something stupid or silly. Then I get this expression. I feel like a child being scolded by a parent.

Cat-tain’s Log

In a class Im in for creatives looking for new ways to connect to readers/listeners, I heard about an author who paired his landscaping photography with one line poems. As I love photography, especially taking pictures of my cats, I thought on this topic for a few weeks until the opening...

Cat-tain’s Log: Episode 001

Cat-tain's Log Episode 001

In between novels and short stories, Ive been wanting to do a webcomic, specifically one featuring my cats. While I can draw, it takes an inordinate amount of time to draw a webcomic, so Ive decided to feature my photography and make this webcomic that medium.

Cat-tains Log is told from the point of view of my cat, Riley, as he and the others study humanity through a variety of hardships, including CoVid19. I plan to post new episodes twice a week, on Monday and Friday. Stay turned for...

Published on the Moon!

Im being published on the moon! No, really! I am!

So how in the hell did that happen, you ask? Well, Arizona State University is working with NASA on a project called LunaH-Map, which you can read more about here: https://lunahmap.asu.edu/

The head of the team is Dr. Craig Hardgrove, who is a long time and huge fan of the Destiny video game series that my husband works on. Because of this, he invited Bungie (the company that makes Destiny) to create a sort of time capsule via an SD card that...
