If I did get crushed, I didn’t notice it. In fact, I enjoyed being on the program because they had the courtesy to allow me to preach the gospel. I hope I have many more “crushing” experiences because that’s what brings out the juice.

Words of Comfort: Outside of the Bible.

It never ceases to amaze me that any historical event outside of the Bible is viewed as the gospel truth, and anything inside the Bible is viewed with a contemptuous skepticism.

Words of Comfort: Praying vs. not praying.

That may be your subjective experience and the experience of others who in their ignorance and proud hearts look on God as a divine butler. But it certainly isn’t our experience. God has answered the penitent prayer of millions who have called on the Name of Jesus Christ.

Words of Comfort: Errors and mistakes in the Bible?

All we ask is for those in the world to stand still and see the salvation of God. We want them to stop their arguments, set aside their prejudices, and look to the cross of Jesus Christ with an open and honest heart.

Words of Comfort: In our hearts.

Moses told Israel of God's plan for them, that He wanted to put His Law in their mouth. In the new covenant, God puts His Law into our hearts and causes us to walk in His statutes. See Ezek. 36:26,27 and Jer. 31:32,33 for more details.
