A Judgement of Powers (An Inheritance of Magic, #3):
"I'm really enjoying this series, and Jacka is doing a great job in exploring the class and economic aspects of this magical world in a way that most writers gloss over. (that's not usually a bad thing; unless you nestle it at the heart of your story,"

An Inheritance of Magic (Inheritance of Magic #1):
"Delicious.
But let's get the other stuff out of the way first. I loved the Verus novels, so I had to expend some energy trying to give this one the space it needs, especially since it's NOT related to them. Inheritance of Magic is a brand new UF. That" Read more of this review » |

“I've heard of a guy in Chicago who advertises in the phone book under "Wizard",though that's probably a urban legend.”

“I don’t sell spells, and I don’t sell tricks. I don’t carry illusions or marked cards or weighted coins. I cannot sell you an endless purse or help you win the lottery. I can’t make that girl you’ve got your eye on fall in love with you, and I wouldn’t do it even if I could. I don’t have a psychic hotline to your dead relatives, I don’t know if you’re going to be successful in your career, and I don’t know when you’re going to get married. I can’t get you into Hogwarts or any other kind of magic school, and if you even mention those stupid sparkly vampires I will do something unpleasant to you.”

Thanks for accepting my friend request. I just finished reading Taken and I thought it was the best in the series so far. I'm eagerly anticipating Chosen.
Merry Christmas and thanks for accepting my request. I read Fated & Cursed within the last week or so and i've just started Taken. Absolutely awesome.
I'm having the best time with Alex. I agree with Jim Butcher, Alex and Dresden would be great friends. Wouldn't it be fun if they had the chance to work together.
