Remake Book Trailer!
I'm pleased to present the book trailer for the ever-awesome Ilima Todd's YA dystopian novel, REMAKE.
First of all, I have to say, I have read REMAKE and it's fabulous!!! I love the family values promoted in the story, the characters, the emphasis on agency and choices, I love Nine's transformation that she makes for herself because of what she learns as she goes. And can we just say Kai? KAI. Sigh. (Yes, it rhymes. Lol.)
Without further ado, I present to you, REMAKE's trailer:

A-Z Musicals: Y

This is another one I've never seen, but I've heard Charlotte Church sing one of the numbers from it and I LOVE THAT SONG.

From my understanding, the story is very sad, about a Jewish woman who decides to dress and act like a man when her father dies, so she can continue her education. Like I said, I've never seen it, but let's listen to Charlotte Church and all get chills for a minute, okay?

A-Z Musicals: X

Cue cheesball-mania in preparation to talk about....

Wow. All I remember about this one is Olivia Newton John rocking around on roller skates. I'm not even sure I finished it. Sorry for all you Xanadu fans, this one was just too weird for me!
Have you seen Xanadu? What did you think of it?

A-Z Musicals: W

Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Need I say more? Okay then, I will.

Even though I much prefer the new Johnny Depp version of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, I love the song, "Pure Imagination" from the old one.
If you want to view paradise,Simply look around and view it.Anything you want to, do it.Want to change the world? There's nothing to it.
And we can't forget this classic:

I heard once that they tried to cut "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" from the movie but Judy Garland wouldn't sta...

A-Z Musicals: V

Not-surprisingly, the selection for "V" musicals is pretty limited. This one sounded interesting, though, and maybe only because it was contributed to by Oscar Hammerstein.

Ever heard of it?

A-Z Musicals: U

I saw this one a *long* time ago, so I'll admit, I don't remember much. But I remember Titanic and seeing the actress play Molly Brown there, ha.
Have you seen The Unsinkable Molly Brown?

A-Z Musicals: T

Here's a beauty. We can't talk "T" without mentioning--

Millie is so blunderingly loveable as she struggles to find out what being a "Modern" woman means for her. This has it all, flappers, jazz, romance and of course, boss/husband hunting (which are one and the same thing). :-p

A-Z Musicals: S

Oh my musical goodness, there are SO MANY GOOD "S" ONES.
Here we go.
Scrooge, Scarlet Pimpernel, The Secret Garden (which I've never seen but LOVE the music from), The Slipper and the Rose, South Pacific, ack, soooooooooo many!!!!
These are my faves though:

Need I say more? <3

A-Z Musicals: R

I haven't seen any of the R Musicals listed either! I have to say, I think Rocky, the Musical would be interesting to see. Or especially a French musical of Romeo and Juliet? YES PLEASE. Assuming you speak French, that is. Which I used to but don't remember much anymore...ahem.
Let's go with Rocky.

Rocky singing and dancing while fighting? There have been stranger things, I suppose! I really love what they said in this brief commentary (and the music doesn't sound too shabby, either!), about wh...
