A-Z Musicals: G

I heard the music for this one before I ever saw it. But we can't talk musicals without mentioning...

Grease. Need I say more?

Okay, I will say something else. John Travolta was kind of a fox! ;)

And we can't forget the Pink Ladies...

Here's to G!

A-Z Musicals: F

This one came to mind instantly, no questions asked.

I love this musical. LOVE IT. The music...you guys, THE MUSIC. I've played in the pit for it twice now, and I love getting to shwank out some slinky clarinet action for the bottle dance at the wedding...but seriously, I love all of it.

I love Tevye's devotion, and yet his willingness to change and improve, his love for his daughters, the unity of their traditions and how important religious traditions really are. I love the messages, the lyr...

A-Z Musicals: E

Hooray for E! This is one of my favorites! It is a ritual every Easter to watch Fred Astaire dance with the toy bunny and the drums in that toy store while I chow down on jelly beans. Sigh. And it fits because today is EASTER, so Happy Easter. He is Risen! <3

I can't make a salad without hearing the waiter in my head either. "Toss, toss. Mix, mix." And every girl needs a fella with an umbrella, IMO.

Love this movie!!

What E Musicals come to mind for you?

And in celebration of Easter, I just wa...

A-Z Musicals: D

I admit--I couldn't think or find any "D" musicals that I've seen! But this one intrigued me, mainly because Dracula was one of my favorite books, and the concept of Van Helsing singing and dancing? Intriguing. *strokes non-existent mustache*

Any D Musicals for you?

I loooooove the music in this one. I will sometimes play the movie and skip through the talking parts just to get to the songs. Especially this one...

Is also this guy:

And these two:

A-Z MUSICALS!
Today it's Blue Hawaii. Because who doesn't need a little Elvis in their lives?

I admit, it's been years since I've seen this. But it definitely fits in with those 1960's beach films. Plus, I recall talk of pineapple, and I'm hearing the theme song in my head right now...

Any B musicals you love?

Also, thanks to those who helped and participated in my rele...
