Today finally came! I've been dying to show this cover to everyone. So excited, nervous, excited, excited, excited (wait, did I say that already?).

Here is my delicious, creepy-flavored cover for PHOBIC, a YA Horror, which I could NOT STOP STARING AT FOR DAYS. I love it you guys. I love the ghost, the haunted house behind her, the font.

I skipped last week due to busyness and traveling for the 4th, but I'm excited to report this week!

HOW I DID LAST WEEK:

-This past week I got my formatting on PHOBIC *almost* done!!
-I also got notes back from CPs on SEALED WITH A KISS, which I'm hoping to release in November or early December. (We'll see if that happens, but I hope so!)

I got my proofread edits done AND got my final cover design (it's creepy-licious, you guys. My goals for this week:


Do proofread edits on PHOBIC and figure out/start the formatting on it so that I can be ready for my cover reveal next month (YAY)! I also get the preliminary cover design tomorrow, which I can't WAIT to see! Finish edits on THIS THING CALLED LIFE, a YA Contemporary by Friday!

An Announcement!

I have something to say, to announce, proclaim, SHOUT and I'm so giddy about it I've hardly been able to sleep. Before I start I just want to establish:

This is not the announcement I've always dreamed of. In fact, it's better.

I recently finished a two-year-long bout of querying. Two years of getting my hopes up every time I heard the little honk of an email from my phone, only to be told that I'm a good writer but... Or that agents just "couldn't connect." I received four R & Rs load...

I just started Jolene B. Perry's Left to Love. So far, so good! I gobbled up the first one, so I can't wait to see what happens in the sequel!



 I'm also trying to broaden my education when I can and have been reading/interested in U.S. History, since I'm finding that I've forgotten some of what I learned in school (tragic). So I'm trying to squeeze in George Wa...
