Articles And Intentions
The August issue of The Magic Happens came out yesterday. My article for this month is about intention. This has always been a debate in my mind as to whether or not our thinking, positive or negative, truly effects the outcome of our day-to-day lives, as well as the future.
It will always be a debate for me, but there is compelling evidence in favor of positive intention. Instead of re-writing the article here, I would very much like for you, my readers and friends to check it out. Find it...

Warmth
As if a poem were meant to be sad
Warmth and light from the sun dim
Seekers of light handily blotted out
We will all see to different degrees
Leagues of sentinels standing over
Making certain darkness stays out
Words as flower petals, tapestries
Light that is peeled from the soul
Reflect the seeds that we’ve sewn
We might have a reason to doubt
Wonder why it rains in spite of sun
Every day greets us with anything
The canvas of our dreams painted
In love given with no expectation

Guest Post by Neha of Forgotten Meadows
I have been reading Neha, author of Forgotten Meadows ,for around two years, and I have to say that her blog is among the most consistently beautiful and comforting. It is easy to tell that her poetry matches her nature as a person. Here is more insight as to who she is and how she makes it look so effortless. If you haven’t already, be sure to have a look around her blog. Thank you for sharing with us, Neha!

Apology
It may have landed on my lips
In the way it always does
Though fault eludes me
And blame divorced me
The standard in manners
Ever holding them high
Still there will be no sorry
We’re reading a different story
It may have landed on my lips
In the way it always does
Please accept this denial
As my most sincere apology

To Chase
The chase is a race for life
No ring and no promise can win it
The miles become millenia behind
But
Her heart is the same, it’s yours
Given, with no thought for second place
She only laughs at your blistering pace
