The internet in the 21st century is posing a great threat in our society mostly our overindulgence in our use of social network sites like Facebook, chat rooms et al. Most researches has proven beyond certain reasonable doubts that parents are unknowingly putting their children at risk of abuse by posting too much personal information online, a criminologist has warned. Dr. Elena Martellozzo, a criminologist of Middlesex University, carried out a simple trial on the names of 15 children in Manchester whom she had never met or seen using their parents' Facebook updates. OKLAHOMA CITY POLICE OFFICER ACCUSED OF SEXUALLY ASSAULTING AT LEAST 6 WOMEN WHILE ON DUTY.

Daniel Ken Holtzclaw, 27, an Oklahoma city police officer was arrested Thursday on complaints of rape, forcible oral sodomy, sexual battery and indecent exposure while he was working, The Oklahoman reported. The police officer is being held in lieu of $5 million bond after being accused of committing a series of sexual assaults against at least six women while on duty. STUDENT KEPT AS SEX SLAVE BY VIOLENT MCDONALD'S WORKER

Abdul Hanif, 30, from Bradford, a McDonald's worker has been found guilty of keeping a 26-year-old student whose name is not disclosed for security reasons as a sex slave for four months while repeatedly raping and beating her. The female student had moved to London from Bangladesh to study accountancy. She first met Hanif in February when she was working in a sandwich shop in London and he 'began to groom her’. The pair exchanged numbers, and after the woman was made homeless Hanif offered to take her to 'a nice new home' in Bradford where by this time he took away her credit cards and mobile phone, effectively making her a prisoner, while forcing her to have sex with him every day and also planned to force his victim into prostitution to help repay his gambling debts. POLICE APPEAL OVER MISSING 15-YEAR-OLD GIRL

Schoolgirl Jessica Peters, 15, was last seen at her family home in Oxted, Surrey, at about midnight on Saturday. The missing 15-year-old girl who vanished from her home over the weekend is believed to be with a man in his 20s. According to police detective Inspector Clive Vale, of Surrey Police, he states that a huge search operation was launched by police after the teenager failed to return to home and urgently need the public's help in tracing Jessica and would ask for anyone with any information to come forward so we know that she is safe and well. MARRIED MIDDLE SCHOOL TEACHER, 32, 'HAD SEX WITH BOY, 13, AFTER HE ACCEPTED A "DARE" TO CONTACT HER AND VISIT HER HOME'

A 32-year-old sixth grade teacher at Siloam Springs Intermediate School in Benton County, Arkansas, Mary Faith McCormick, a married mother-of-one, has been allegedly accused of raping a 13-year-old boy after he accepted a 'dare' to contact her and visit her home. McCormick, 32, was arrested after one of the boy's friends found semi-nude photos of the teacher on the boy's phone. According to KFSM report, the sexual encounters began after a friend 'dared' the 13-year-old to contact McCormick. The teen and a friend went over to the teacher's apartment to watch a movie.
