CONCERN GROWS OVER THE SAFETY OF A MISSING 15-YEAR-OLD SCHOOLGIRL IN HAMPSHIRE.

Rebecca McLean, 15, from Southampton, Hampshire, was last seen with 33-year-old Michael Britten, 33 also from Southampton, in Ryde on the Isle of Wight yesterday morning. It is believed that the pair had travelled to the holiday island together and police are 'growing concerned' about them, while her mother Julie Middleditch, 49, has begged Rebecca to come home with still no response of her ware about. According to her mother, Rebecca moved out of her parents’ home two years ago after being bullied at school, and had been staying at a family friend’s house, where Mr. Britten was also a lodger. SUSPECT ARRESTED IN MURDER OF WASHINGTON GIRL JENISE WRIGHT.

A missing 6-year-old Washington State girl Jenise Wright, is missing in Washington State. The little girl was last seen by her parents Saturday night when she went to bed in their bramington home but her parents did not report her missing until late Sunday. Both parents are presently in police custody for further questioning. Following an investigation, a 17-year-old boy whose identity was not released was arrested today in line of suspicion with the killing of the 6-year-old girl who disappeared last week, police said. MINORS MAY SOON BE TRIED AS ADULTS IN THE JUVENILE JUSTICE ACT.

In India, a Bill has been presented in Parliament for approval. The new Bill is aiming to curb crimes by minors, the Union Cabinet on Wednesday cleared an amendment to the Juvenile Justice act which will give Juvenile Justice Board the power to decide if a minor between the ages of 16 and 18, accused of heinous crimes like rape and murder, should be tried as adults in a regular court. The proposed changes come against the backdrop of outrage over the lighter punishment of three years at a reform home given to a minor convicted in the December 16, 2012 Delhi gang-rape case. A young girl who was too young to be named was raped by two boys she was playing Xbox with was subjected to a tirade on online abuse accusing her of 'asking for it' and 'lying' about the assaults. The girl, from Chepstow, south Wales was just ten when she was raped by boys aged 12 and 13 as they played the Minecraft computer game together. The girl's mother went to police but they told her they weren't able to help, and told her to talk to Facebook, who told her the comments didn't breach their 'community standards'. FATHER CHARGED WITH KILLING HIS 17-YEAR-OLD DAUGHTER BY SUPPLYING HER WITH ILLEGAL DRUGS’MDMA’.

Jason Wilkes, 44, is allegedly accused of the manslaughter of his 17 year-old daughter, Chloe Wilkes, former North School pupil who died after taking MDMA at home. The deceased teenager was found collapsed at her semi-detached home in Ashford, Kent on July 27 and taken to the William Harvey Hospital but pronounced dead later the same day.
