BREAKING NEWS: BOKO HARAM KIDNAPS WIFE OF CAMEROON VICE PRIME MINISTER

The wife of Cameroon's vice Prime Minister Amadou Ali has been kidnapped by the Islamic militant group Boko Haram. The kidnapping took place early hours of yesterday morning in the town of Kolofata, north Cameroon and the attack is the third by Boko Haram in Cameroon since Friday. According to a report, heavily armed fighters targeted the home of vice prime minister as well as a local spiritual leader called Seini Boukar Lamine, who is also the town's mayor. The attacks into Cameroon in recent weeks are because of the country deployment of troops to the region, joining international efforts to combat the militants. Andrew Douglas, 30, from Gosforth, Newcastle, a primary school teacher of Tyneside primary school, was found with almost 700 child abuse images and banned from working with children has been told his offending would 'send a shudder down the backs' of parents. According to Newcastle Crown Court report, Douglas, 30, admittedly confessed to having a 'dark secret' for half a decade after being found in possession of 696 child abuse images, some of which were the worst of their type. TEEN GIRL ALLEGEDLY TAPED TO TREE, SEXUALLY ASSAULTED AND FILMED BY GROUP OF FELLOW STUDENTS ON SCHOOL GROUNDS.

A female Year Nine student of Adelaide high school was allegedly bullied and tied up to a tree by fellow students and sexually assaulted. According to a report, the female student was allegedly filmed on the perpetrators' mobile phones screaming as eight fellow students pulled down their pants and rubbed their genitalia on her. Even more shocking was that, the incident occurred in 2011 but it was not reported to the Education Department or South Australian police until April this year, a department spokeswoman said. JAPANESE SCHOOLGIRL, 15, 'BEATS UP FEMALE CLASSMATE TO DEATH AND THEN CHOPPED OFF HER HEAD AND HAND'.

A Japanese young teenage school girl (Name Withheld), 15, from Sasebo, Tokyo is arrested for allegedly killing a high school friend Aiwa Matsuo, also 15, who was visiting her apartment in Sasebo, Nagasaki by attacking her from behind and using a blunt instrument to struck her over a dozen blows to the head and strangling her around 8 p.m. on Saturday before finally decapitating her head and left hand. The victim was found dead by police on a bed in the suspect’s apartment in Sasebo, 900 miles south west of Tokyo, soaked in blood, with the decapitated body of her friend lying on the bed. According to a report by the Japanese police, this is one of the most grisly crimes tackled by them. The unnamed suspect has since been arrested and is presently being interviewed by the Japanese police to establish the reason for the alleged murder. SCIENTISTS DISCOVER ANCIENT VIRUS THAT LIVES IN THE GUT OF HALF THE WORLD’S POPULATION.

A previously unknown virus linked to obesity and diabetes called crAssphage has been discovered - and researchers say it lives in the gut of more than half the world's population. Robert Edwards, a bioinformatics professor at San Diego State University stumbled upon the discovery by accident. When Edwards and his colleagues checked this discovery against a comprehensive listing of known viruses, they failed to find a match. The researchers then screened for the virus across the database of the National Institute of Health’s Human Microbiome Project (HMP), and Argonne National Laboratory's MG-RAST database, and again found it in abundance in samples derived from human feces. U.S. STATE DEPARTMENT PUBLISHES SATELLITE IMAGES: 'PROOF' RUSSIA IS FIRING AT UKRAINIAN TROOPS.

The U.S. government has released satellite shots from the past week which allegedly shows rockets being fired from Russia into Ukraine, and heavy artillery being rolled across the border to be used by pro-Russian rebels in the country's ongoing civil war. A four-page document released from the State Department purportedly show blast marks from where rockets were launched and craters where they landed. NEW JERSEY WOMAN ACCUSED OF SEXUALLY ASSAULTING 8-YEAR-OLD GIRL MULTIPLE TIMES AFTER PROMISING HER CANDY

Whitney Ball, 25, of Wharton, New Jersey is charged with multiple charges after she allegedly sexually assaulted an 8-year-old girl promising her candy before sexually assaulting the victim. The alleged sexual assaults took place from June 1, 2013 to September 1, 2013. According to a report by the Morris County Prosecutor's Office, Ball allegedly 'engaged in multiple acts of digital penetration' and 'multiple acts of sexual contact with' the girl, the prosecutor's office said. 72-YEAR-OLD MAN ARRESTED AT HEATHROW AIRPORT ON SUSPICION OF CONSPIRACY TO COMMIT FGM AFTER HE ARRIVED WITH 11-YEAR-OLD GIRL ON FLIGHT FROM UGANDA.

A 72-year-old man was stopped by police at Heathrow Airport yesterday morning after arriving with an 11-year-old girl on a flight from Kampala, Uganda. Similarly, a 40-year-old woman was arrested in Hackney under Section 2 of the FGM Act 2003, namely aiding, abetting, counselling or procuring a girl to carry out FGM on herself. According to a Metropolitan Police spokesman, both suspects have been taken to east London police stations where they remain in custody. The police spokesman added: 'The Female Genital Mutilation Act 2003 makes it illegal to participate in any sort of arrangement for FGM to be performed on another, either inside or outside the UK.'
