The internet in the 21st century is posing a great threat in our society mostly our overindulgence in our use of social network sites like Facebook, chat rooms et al. Most researches has proven beyond certain reasonable doubts that parents are unknowingly putting their children at risk of abuse by posting too much personal information online, a criminologist has warned. Dr. Elena Martellozzo, a criminologist of Middlesex University, carried out a simple trial on the names of 15 children in Manchester whom she had never met or seen using their parents' Facebook updates.
