World Cup 2014! Yup!
Soccer brings me back to my youth(played a little in school), remember when our family would gather around the TV set watching futbol. Each time the sports commentator would yell 'goooooaaaaalll', we knew a team scored. The players worked hard, between kicking the ball, head bunts, and player making sure he kicks the ball pass the goalie to make the net. Not an easy task. So, when 'gooooaaaalll' comes we were excited! It was nice to see the US playing strong this year...I've liked my other teams over the years...soccer is coming to be more popular in the US...which is nice...
All you soccer fans, root for your teams! Can't wait soccer stadium, Miami! DB makin' happen!

When you said, 'I will never leave you orphans', You made sure that we were not alone. Thank you, Lord for YOU. We can never love You enough. When our life on earth ends, it will be fine because You have given us eternal life. Your love is eternal!

God put A Rainbow in the Sky
Lately, I've been reflecting on this little passage.
God put a rainbow in the she sky:
*to show His love for us.
*to show our covenant relationship with Him.
*to show us that we are His children.
*to remind us of the promises He made to us long ago are alive today.
*to be instruments of hope to each other.
*to be instruments of grace to one another.
*pursue peace in relationship with Him.
*pursue love in relation with Him.
Every time we see a beautiful rainbow in the sky, it will bring a smile to light up our faces.

Ascension of the Lord
Our beloved Lord ascends to heaven.
Lifted up, by the clouds out of our sight.
What does it mean to us left behind?
It means to be patient and wait for the promise gift coming from the Father.
It means to be 'my witnesses' says the Lord.
It means the Lord has left me for works to do on HIS behalf.
It means a new faith is born within me.
It means a new purpose is awakened in me.
It means a new adventure waiting on the horizon.
It means to get ready for a new anointing.
It means our heavenly Father God, wants us to partner up with HIS beloved Son, our beloved Savior.

-awakens a deeper knowledge of our beloved Lord.

By the sacrifices she makes for the ones she loves.
A Spiritual mother's song...
Wisdom escapes her to the ears of the Lord's children.
Nurturing them to through and through
Taking care of lost soul one by one.
Making a home sweet home that is secure for the special ones of the Lord.
Blessed Mother, the Mother of Jesus...Happy Mother's Day...to you for being our spiritual mother to God's children...your humility strengthened by Angel Gabriel's message...your 'yes' to bear the fruit of your womb, Jesus... your constant intercessions on our behalf, your merciful graces from the Lord-you give us, your constant protection from the foe, your encouragement to listen to your Son, our Saviour, Jesus Christ...we Thank you, Big!

A Shepherd's Sermon of Mercy
A sacred scripture to reflect upon,
Jn 20:19-31
Lord's resurrection brings good news.
Appearing among His Apostles to strengthen them, in visitation.
A new mercy,
A new faith,
A new life,
A new purpose.
An Apostles Cry of Mercy
Thomas called Didymus, a cry to believe.
A blessing he needed to witness.
Wounds that Thomas desired to touch.
This touch meant so much, because it meant that all would be left behind to follow his resurrected Lord for good.
His Lord obliged him, because He knew the importance of belief.
An awestruck response, "My, Lord! My God!" escaped Thomas.
Yet, '...blessed are those who have not seen and have believed'. Says Our Lord.
Thomas need not worry, because at one point we, followers of Christ, echoed the same desire.
For His mercy endures forever.
Shepherd, Fr.ALJ...
Helped us to understand this new purpose. Increased our belief this day, with an encouraging message of Divine Mercy,
To increase our Divine life within.
To increase our knowing that Christ is the center of our faith.
To increase our knowing that Christ (like His Father, Our Father) breathed 'ruah' upon the Apostles of old, will do the same in our new life of faith.
Easter blessings of mercy and grace...
