A Gracious King*
His unconditional love, a beauty to the soul...
His suffering for the lost he came to save...
His sovereignty an eternal covering.
His right hand and holy arm has brought salvation to his beloved...
Our Song to a Gracious King...
You are our hope, unending hope.
You are our refuge, an eternal safety.
You are our consolation, a joy we love.
You are merciful, in times of trials.
You are our strength, in times of weakness.
You are our victory, when we thought all was lost...
You whisper sweet nothings of wisdom and understanding, pure gifts of your Spirit.
Your voice and word are consolations to the heart...
Your eternal love is incomparable to earthly love...
We seek your face, our Gracious King...
We seek you, our Lord and savior...
We come to you, as our first resort...
We come to you, in adoration...
Our gracious King, in heavenly enthronement...
Our gracious King, enthroned on our hearts...
Our gracious King, much loved by His people...
Our gracious King, we sing praises to you...
Frankincense, myrrh and gold to adorn our Savior King...
Thank you my gracious King, for pouring out your eternal blessings on us.
Thank you my gracious King, for your unending love...
Thank you my gracious King, for being the great YOU!
My gracious King, my BIG love to you!

Feast of St. Francis of Assisi
He contemplated God's creation.
In this deep reflection, St. Francis
saw the beauty and grace that surrounded him.
The beauty reflected in his writings, music, life of prayer, life of service to Christ Jesus...
In rebuilding Christ's Church, he brought reform and many to the faith.
His humility was illuminated by those who knew him.
St. Francis of Assisi brought the light of the Gospels to life.
That light brought a new friend in St. Clare of Assisi.
Her dedicating her life to Christ as His bride became her consolation to Our Lord who suffered on the Cross for our salvation.
Canticle of the Creatures
-said to be the final prayer St. Francis wrote.
Lord let me be an instrument of your peace.
where there is hatred, let me sow love.
where there is injury, pardon.
where there is doubt, faith.
where there is despair, hope.
where there is darkness, light.
where there is sadness, joy.
O' Divine Master grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled, as to console;
to be understood as to understand; to be loved , as to love.
Because it is in giving that we receive, it is in pardoning that we are pardoned, it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
We remember St. Francis of Assisi this day as an example to follow in our own walk with the Lord.
May we always have compassion for one another as St. Francis exemplified and as Christ taught us.
May we follow Christ in a manner of St. Francis with humility and love glorifying our beloved Lord.
May the blessings and graces be with you!

Where did the summer go?
The blazing heat, has one keeping a steadfast eye on the air conditioner control box.
This is only to alleviate any worry that this cooling mechanism will maintain its mechanical
capabilities in order.
The blazing heat, keeps us looking for that refreshment. A jump in the pool. Cool smoothie
drinks. Iced lattes, coffees, and teas. Without these drinks to soothe our parched throats,
we might as well pack our bags and go home.
The blazing heat, resounds a much needed vacation whether it is with our family or friends.
Our plans have been just right and off we go! Throughout summer we relax and enjoy to make
memories. These we share for later.
The blazing heat, comes to an end. All the fun and laid back activities are put to rest.
Where did the summer go?

Cross of Christ
We adore you, O' Christ, and we bless you, because by the Holy Cross You have redeemed the world.
Sacred Cross...
of love
of compassion
of hope
of redemption
of Salvation
of Divine Mercy
Crucified for our iniquities...
We respond...
'We adore you, O' Christ, and we bless you, because the Holy Cross You have redeemed the world.'
Cross of Christ!

Peace In My Own Heart
Peace in my own heart is:
A place of rest.
A place where I can gain a true perspective.
A place of tranquility.
A place of warmth.
A place where the waters of Divine love flow freely.
A place I can call my own.
A place that is secure.
A place that beauty reigns.
A place where hope floats on still waters.
A place where creativity is fruitful.
A place where the Holy Spirit tends to stir me up for the new.
A place where a new purpose takes root as we move forward in faith.
A place where I remain close to the Lord without falling backwards.
A place that is sacred no one can touch.
A place I AM reigns and new experiences happen.
A place that echoes, 'remain where you are, as you grow in Me'.
A place where distractions don't exist.
A place that is pure, filled with grace, courage and strength.
Peace in my own heart takes me to a Divine place.

Feast of the Assumption of Blessed Virgin Mary
A faithful woman who entrusted herself to her Creator, God.
God beheld His handmaiden and arrayed her in gold and jewels.
He clothed her with the finest and sweetest that one can find.
Her priceless gift of herself to the Lord, became a total generosity.
Before she was espoused to Joseph, her complete faithfulness to the Lord bore us a Savior.
Mary's allegiance and loyalty to God, became a blessing for the children of God, because her relationship with God give her to know the will of God for her life.
Mary's consecration in the will of God, she knew was a preparation for her destiny.
When that pivotal time came, her maturity in the faith and relationship with God, made her ready to receive the good news and surrender to it.
Angel Gabriel came delivering a beautiful message, that only Mary, could answer 'yes' in her own free will.
Her resounding 'yes' to her Lord, in her humility of grace brought hope and salvation to us all.
Mary's cousin, Elizabeth makes a proclamation after the babe in her womb leaped for joy the moment of hearing Mary's greeting... 'blessed are you among women and blessed is the fruit of your womb...'
Mary echos her responses after Elizabeth's proclamation of hope...
The Magnificat:
Canticle of Mary
"My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord;
my spirit rejoices in God my Savior.
For he has looked upon his handmaid's lowliness,
behold, from now on will all ages call me blessed.
The Mighty One has done great things for me, and holy is his name.
He has shown might with his arm,
dispersed the arrogant of mind and heart.
He has thrown down the rulers from their thrones but lifted up the lowly.
The hungry he has filled with good things;
the rich he has sent away empty.
He has helped Israel his servant, remembering his mercy,
according to his promise to our fathers,to Abraham and to his descendants forever."
When God touches our heart and soul, and out of purpose, we are chosen to do His will, we can't help but to respond.
Blessed Virgin Mary, the mother of our beloved Lord Jesus Christ (Mother of God), we thank you for your beautiful 'yes'.
Book of Revelation...
'A great sign appeared in the sky, a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars...'
Have a blessed day!
Blessed Mother, thank you for interceding for us. :)
