Impatient Stories
I have a problem. I get random scenes and story ideas about six times a day. Some of them are just passing fancies, although I do write them all down. I try to not dwell on them too much because then they get in the way of my current story and then nothing gets done. Usually, I can push these ideas aside and keep on working, but every now and again, I get what I like to call “Impatient Stories”. They scream and shout like a two year old throwing a tantrum demanding my attention. The worst par...

Goodbye Nana
A year ago, my grandmother got really sick. It took a while to figure out what exactly was wrong with her, cancer. It pains me to say that on December 27th 2016, she passed from this world. We all new that she wouldn’t leave before Christmas (it being herfavoriteholiday). I love you Nana and you will be terribly missed my all of us. Thank you for all the years of love and support you gave me. I will try to live my life in a way that would make you proud.

Taking a Break
Hey guys.
Things are really kinda crazy for me right now. My grandmother is loosing her fight with cancer and honestly, she could go at any moment. I realize that it has been a while since I’ve posted anything so I just wanted to take a few moments to tell you that I’m still alive and will return.
Please tell your loved one how you feel. You never know when they will no longer be around.
Thanks.

Veteran’s Day
A very happy Veteran’s Day to all my fellow vets out there. Whether I served with you or not, I consider you a friend. May your belly be full, may you have a roof over your head, and may you be surrounded by loved ones.

Tools of the Trade
There are many tools that I employ to help me along while I plan and write my books. Sometimes it’s a steaming cup of tea or a tall glass of wine. And it always involves music. At first I used good ‘ol Pandora, bouncing around stations as they suited me. Then I found the lovely playlists on Spotify (yes I know, I’m a little late to the party). But my newest discovery is a wonderful little gem call ambient-mixer.com. Talented people have created background noise for you to listen to! My favori...

I’m alive, I promise.
My life has become a roller coaster right now. My grandmother is not doing well and may be loosing her battle with cancer. Work has become a whole basket of crazy this year. And I’ve finally started to the get the clinical help that I need. So much is going on and so much is changing that writing or anything related to writing has taken a back seat. But while things haven’t gotten any better, the ride has gotten a little smoother.
Today I finally finished writingFrank Tales. I have been tryin...

Someone kill me now!!!!
I love the people that I use for publishing my book. I really do, but they are killing me too. As you may remember my book came out this month. It was a struggle from start to finish but it appears that the struggle isn’t over yet. There were formatting issues in the book! And on top of that there a was mistake that both myself and my editor miss! Oh holly hell someone kill me. I have since corrected the mistakes and hopefully no more will pop up.

Preemptive Strike
So now thatSouls in the Dark is off to my lovely editor I could use this time to take a breather…but I’m not. I’ve decided to already get a jump on outlining the last book in the Lost Guardian trilogy. I won’t release the title I have now, because it’s more of a working title. But I figure that the sooner I get started, the sooner I can get it out there. There are other stories that I want to write, but I can’t write two different stories at one time. At least, not my own.
I still need to fin...

Weird forms of inspiration
There are some things that help a writer find the right words to say or breathe to life a scene. Music is usually the first thing that people talk about. I often listen to certain styles of music when I’m writing certain pieces. The music helps me to create the world and people in my head. It also helps to create sequences. When I’m editing, I tend to listen to music that l like to sing along to. Editing is one of the most boring things a writer has to do. I tend to go cross-eyed after a whil...
