Guest Post | The Twelve Coffins of Dr. Coffin by Amy Spector
Today, we have Amy Spector on a visit!!! She’s here to share her release day with us Welcome, Amy!
Hello, everyone! And thank you to Ofelia for letting me stop by to share my new book.
Today is release day for The Twelve Coffins of Dr. Coffin! Written to celebrate the twelfth anniversary of JMS Books, it’s about making a terrible movie on a tiny budget, while trying not to fall for the same man you made the mistake of falling for once before.
Second chance really does seem to be my trope of c...

Read Around the Rainbow | How does music/noise affect your writing?
It’s Read Around the Rainbow time! Every month, we’re a bunch of authors who blog on the same topic. This month’s topic is:
How does music/noise affect your writing?I’m sensitive to noise. If there is too much noise around, I get panicky and sooo exhausted. Being in rooms filled with people is a nightmare, that buzz of voices. I can’t hear what the person next to me says when I’m in a situation like that, and it completely drains me. I avoid parties and gatherings like the plague LOL
When I fi...

Wrap-Up Wednesday | July
It’s Wrap-Up Wednesday time, and I’m a little confused about what I’ve read, but let’s give it a go, yeah? I went on a full-on Lousia Masters binge. Or not full on, but last month I read Dragon Ever After and loved it, and I knew that there was another dragon story in the YBBB giveaway, so I meant to read that. I did, but not right away.
I’ll try to do these stories in the order I read them, but I might mess up.
Demons Do It Better by Louisa MastersThis is the first in the Hidden Species serie...

Guest Post | Love in an Elevator by Holly Day
Hello, everyone! I’m here as Holly today, and I thought I should tell you a little about my newest story, Love in an Elevator – yes, Aerosmith was part of my teenage soundtrack. And, okay, some of their songs are on some of my Spotify lists.
Love in an Elevator isn’t really about love in an elevator, more about falling in love in an elevator. I wrote it to celebrate National Talk in an Elevator Day and to make the talking a little harder, I made one of the characters have a fluency disorder. A...

#WhatToReadWednesday | Alien Gay Romance Books
It’s time for some book recs! Did you know that it’s both National Moon Day AND Space Exploration Day today? I feel like aliens is the way to go
Most of the books below, I’ve recommended at one point or another, but we can stand to be reminded of what’s out there. I’ll keep it short though since it’s too hot to think today.
Claimings, Tails, and Other Alien Artifacts by Lyn GalaWe can’t have a list of aliens and not mention this series despite me having brought it up time and time again, so l...

Release Day | Keep it Down!
It’s release day!!! Keep it Down! is out today. It’s a story about Post-its which should be enough for you to love it I have a thing for stationery, in case you didn’t know, and while Post-its aren’t what excites me the most (they’re not pretty enough) you can’t live life without Post-its.
Eason is a bit stuck-up, not annoyingly so, but he’s a little stiff. Nate, on the other hand, is a laid-back guy who rolls with the punches. They live next door to each other and… Well, Eason wants to strangl...

Guest Post | Devil Meets Necromancer by Alexa Piper
Alexa Piper is back! This time she’s gonna tell us a little about her Hellbound series. Welcome, Alexa!
As romance writers, we are taught to give our readers a HEA, a happily ever after. What this means is, we bring our characters together, watch them fall in love, struggle a bit, but then, eventually, take a casual stroll into the sunset together.
As a reader, I never liked that. Sure, when you have two people you like, you want them to end up in awkward situations, bantering at each other, w...

Update | We’ve Got This
“The tragedy in life doesn’t lie in not reaching your goal. The tragedy lies in having no goal to reach.”
Benjamin E. Mays
It’s update time!!! I’m feeling pretty good. For the last two months, I’ve felt like I’ve been rushing to get things in before the deadlines, but now I’m a bit more in control.
Holly’s advent story is with my beta readers, and I’ve just finished the first draft of mine, so yay! We’ve got this All stories for the third quarter have been submitted, and while it gets a bi...

Giveaway | July
It’s giveaway time!!! In July last year, Holly released Bring Him Back, Jack. She wrote it to celebrate Different Eye Colour Day, which has to be linked to some kind of magic power, right? Of course, it has
Ivan is a shadow walker, meaning he can melt into his surroundings. It makes him a really good thief, but while he likes a challenge, being blackmailed into stealing a diamond isn’t his idea of a good time.
I don’t have a matching story. I have several with magic users, but none where the ...
