Alexa Piper is back on the blog! When I first saw this cover come up in my social media feed, I stopped just to look. So pretty Welcome, Alexa!
Hello, Readers! Let me welcome you to a brand-new urban fantasy series with a darker flavor. The series starts off with Moonlight Cherries, a story set mostly at night. Let’s go through the checklist to see if it’s right for you. Moonlight Cherries contains these things:
A possessive MC meets a shy MCCourtshipSweet romance“I will kill whoever dares...October 4, 2022

Today, Ellie Thomas is back on the blog, yay! She’ll be talking about her new story A Trick of the Light, so read on! Welcome, Ellie
Thank you so much again, lovely Ofelia, for having me as your guest. I’m Ellie Thomas, I write MM Historical Romance, and I’m here today to chat about A Trick of the Light, my October release for JMS Books.
I’ve written before about how I like to set stories in locations that are familiar to me. A Trick of the Light is not only set in Bristol like last year’s Tr...

Update | What Are We Doing Again?
Courage does not always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, ‘I will try again tomorrow.
– Mary Anne Radmacher
If you’ve hung around me anywhere, you probably know September was a nightmarish month for me. My mother-in-law passed away, and we learned my mother has liver cancer that’s incurable and inoperable. So I’ve mostly been trudging through black sludge.
My brain hasn’t been with me at all, and I don’t really know what I’ve been doing. Mostly, I’ve be...

Giveaway | October
It’s giveaway time!!!
Last year, Holly released Call Me Charles in October, which is a story that celebrates National Motorcycle Ride Day. It’s a contemporary story about Charles who is having a really bad day.
The most similar story I have to Call Me Charles is probably Crazy Joe. There are no motorcycles in it, but it’s a contemporary story about Jonas who doesn’t have the best of days either.
Both stories have past (in Charles’ case it’s both past and current) bullying, but both Charles an...

Read Around the Rainbow | Favourite MM Romance Reads with Yellow/Orange/Red covers
It’s Read Around the Rainbow time!!! Every month, we’re a group of authors who blog on the same topic. Since it’s September, and we’re all in the northern hemisphere (I feel we’ve failed a little there), it’s autumn. To celebrate this best of all seasons, yes, it is! Without a doubt, the best season
. We’ll recommend some books with yellow, orange, and red covers
Over at Pinterest, I have boards where I’ve pinned books with a specific colour on the cover. I’ve mostly stopped doing it now, but...

Wrap-Up Wednesday | September
It’s wrap-up time! My brain hasn’t been working. When I’ve had the energy to read at all, I’ve read something I’ve read before. I’ve needed the familiarity of rereads.
But, before we jump into the books I’ve reread (not all are rereads, but most) I missed not one, but two books last month. Goes to show that I’ve misplaced my brain somewhere. If you find it, please bring it back. I kinda miss it.
Grown Men by Damon SuedeIt was the cover… I might already have lost my brain when I did this becaus...

Guest Post | Autumn Books by Nell Iris
Today, we have Nell Iris back on the blog She’s here to help you fill up your TBR for the autumn. Welcome, Nell.
I want to start by thanking my dear friend Ofelia for welcoming me back to her blog. For once, I’m not here to talk about a new release; instead, I’m spreading some love for a couple of my older books. Because older books need love too, amirite?
It’s foggy outside as I write this. And chilly; the thermometer says 1 degree Celsius (34F), but I’m wearing my favorite woolly socks, an ...

#WhatToReadWednesday | Addiction
It’s #WhatToReadWednesday time, and I can honestly say my mind is blank. I stared at the screen for a long time not coming up with any theme whatsoever, but then I hopped over to nationaltoday.com and saw that September is National Recovery Month. I didn’t know what kind of recovery, but some clicks later, and: National Recovery Month is observed every year in September to promote and find new evidence-based treatments for patients battling addiction.
I tend to avoid books about addiction, so t...

Guest Post | Dear Diary by Holly Day
Hello, everyone! I’m Holly Day, and Ofelia doesn’t mind me stealing a spot here since she’s my alter ego This month, we’re celebrating Dear Diary Day.
Unless you’ve forgotten or never stumbled upon the explanation before, as Holly Day, I write stories for specific days. They’re all gay romance stories in every possible and impossible subgenre, but the idea comes from a specific day.
This month, that day is Dear Diary Day. I could have done it by someone finding a diary and learning something ...

Guest Post | Queer Relations by Ellie Thomas
Ellie Thomas is back on the blog, yay! Welcome, Ellie.
Thank you lovely Ofelia for having me as a guest on your blog again! I’m Ellie Thomas and I write MM Historical Romance and I’m here today to chat about Queer Relations, my September release for JMS Books. When I finished writing Twelve Letters for the submission call to celebrate JMS Books’ 12th Anniversary in July, I had no intention of writing a sequel. I was already in the middle of my August story, One Summer Night, when Percy Havilla...
