#SalesSaturday | Finding Home

#SalesSaturdayIt’s release day!!! 🥳 Finding Home is now live. It’s a collection of three of my Up North stories, so we’re talking small-town contemporary gay romances.

This box set includes Around SevenBanger Challenge, and Once in May which are some of my favourite stories. It’s always hard to pick favourites, but these are all dear to me.

Around Seven and Once in May take place in Nortown, whereas Banger Challenge is a road trip story. The opening scene is in Nortown, but they’re having car troubles betwe...

Read Around the Rainbow | Someone insults your main character, how do they react?

ReadAroundTheRainbow

It’s time for the monthly Read Around the Rainbow post. Every month we’re a group of authors who blog on the same topic, and this month we’re talking characters, more specifically:

Someone insults your main character, how do they react?

Had I been another kind of author, I’d written a bonus scene to show how one of my characters reacts, but I tend to forget them the moment I let them go. The little things that make them them disappear from my memory, and if I try to write them again, they’re fl...

Wrap-Up Wednesday | February

It’s Wrap-Up Time! I actually had #WhatToReadWednesday on my to-do today, but February is a short month, and I’ve got too few Wednesdays to work with, so I’ll do the Wrap-Up.

I read a few books at the beginning of the month, and then I got too busy chasing deadlines to have time to read. But we have a few titles.

Out of Focus by A.L. Lester

I’ve had this a long time but haven’t read it until now. A cute, slow-burn, contemporary story set in A.L. Lester’s Theatr Fach universe. I’ll definitely che...

Today, we have Ellie Thomas on a visit! She’s here to tell us about A Touch of Spice that’s released today 🥳 Welcome, Ellie!

Touch of Spice Promo 2

Thank you so much, lovely Ofelia, for having me as a guest on your blog today. I’m Ellie, and I write MM Historical Romance novellas. Today is release day for my new story, A Touch of Spice, set in Elizabethan London, so it’s great to celebrate that here!

I tend to write about a range of historical periods in my MM Romances, so I always enjoy trying to give my readers a fl...

Cover Reveal | Finding Home

I have a cover!!! I shared this with my newsletter on the 13th and then completely forgot to post it here. I’m a little in love, I have to say 😍

Finding Home is a box set of three Up North stories – Banger challengeAround Seven, and Once in May. I’m very fond of all three of these stories and hope you will be too.

They’re all about men who don’t belong anywhere, who are moving around and never putting down roots until they find their place in the small towns of the north.

Banger Challenge is a...

WhatToReadWednesday | The Devil Will Care

The Devil will Care Whatotread

I’m here as Holly today! And what I think you should be reading is aliens. My story, The Devil Will Care, was released a few days ago. I wrote it to celebrate World Nutella Day, so I guess I could’ve popped on here to say you should read books with Nutella in them. But how many books do you know of that have Nutella in them?

Maybe there are loads, and I just don’t pay attention. In contrast to my lovely aliens, I’ve never understood the thing with Nutella. Don’t get me wrong, it tastes good, bu...

Read Around the Rainbow | How to Romance a Romance Writer

ReadAroundTheRainbow

The first Read Around the Rainbow post of the year!!! 🥳 On the last Friday of every month, we’re a group of authors who blog on the same topic and today’s topic is:

How to Romance a Romance Writer

Ha! We’re just a couple of days away from February, and soon the hysteria of Valentine’s Day will set in. It might already have, I don’t know. I hardly leave my home these days 😅

I’m one of the least romantic people you’ve ever come across. Obvious romantic gestures just make me uncomfortable, so I do m...

Wrap-Up Wednesday | January

I haven’t been reading much. I’ve been writing and sometimes reading and writing go hand in hand for me. When I’m in that hyper state, I’m not really connected to the real world. I write like crazy until my brain gets too tired, and then I pick up a book to relax with. Often one fuels the other, but not this month.

My entire focus has been on doing words in the morning and doing everything else that comes along with being an author in the afternoon. When the evening arrives, I’ve been blankly st...

TropeTuesday | Squirrel Circus by Holly Day

TropeTuesday Squirrel Circus

Hiya! I’m here as Holly today, and I thought I’d tell you a little about Squirrel Circus, which was released a few days ago 😊 I wrote it for Squirrel Appreciation Day because squirrels are cute, right?

In this story, we have Jyran, who is a squirrel shifter. Squirrel shifters are near extinct because people – both humans and shifters of predatory species – hunt them.

Then we have Gideon, who is a grumpy werewolf who wants nothing to do with squirrels.

Jyran is a darling. Did you know squirrels m...
