It tells the story of a man who lost his wife to cancer a few years earlier and has spent the last three years going through the motions of his life until one morning, he opens the newspaper and sees his own obituary. Convinced by his best friend to attend the Irish Wake, he is reunited with all sorts of people from his life. Friends. Friends of friends. Family. What looked to be a somber occasion takes a turn when the man's brother returns from overseas and takes him on an overnight laugh riot celebration of his life.(less)

I love unique friendships and seeing ordinary people in extraordinary circumstances or extraordinary people in ordinary circumstances. I love people who are grounded. Most of my stories are character-driven for that reason.(less)

In a time where Hollywood has garnered more attention for its collective misdeeds off camera and its unimaginative storylines in front of it, it is not completely devoid of merit if you know where to look. Someone once said that there are only 100 different movie themes and every single movie is a variation of one of them. Feel free to begin by looking past the plethora of Superhero movies and... “What if everyone's life was judged solely by the worst thing they'd ever done?”
Matt Micros, The Knights of Redemption

“The warmth and sun-drenched days of late summer, had been replaced by the cold, darkness of November, where the crisp chill served as a precursor to a winter that would long overstay its welcome once the holidays had past.”
Matt Micros, Five Days: Which Days Would You Choose?
