The Best Tech Parenting Tool You Already Own

Kids love technology.

That is not a bad thing! Our kids will need to be tech savvy their whole lives long. Learning about clicking and finding and searching and learning online is as important as kn owing math or reading. But parents are looking for ways to put Pandora back in her box on occasion.

Kids need limits.

We need to give our kids the time and space they need to learn and enjoy their technology skills. We ALSO need to give them time and space to learn other things – like how to get enough sleep, and how not to let the screen take over their lives.

You already own the best tool for doing just that!

Watch and then let me know what you think.

Teen dating can increase risky behavior.

But we’re not always right to worry either. I offered 4 strategies for connecting with your teen about their partners  in a way they can hear, and affecting some change.

What will you do if your teen’s dating or partner worry you? Besides a padlock on the door? icon smile When You Dont Trust Your Teens Date
