What can I say about MetaCon2015?

I always get a rush whenever I attend a convention that allows me to be surrounded by like-minded nerds. Further Musings on Character Development
If there's one thing I've learned over the course of my writing career, it's to always allow the characters I create to evolve on their own.
What do I mean by that?
Quite simply, I mean that while you should always have a general idea in mind for the character you're creating, you shouldn't set anything in stone right off the bat.
Why?
Because you're just getting to know that particular character. You're still feeling him or her out and getting to know their quirks and the subtle nuances tha...

Reflections
Fifteen years ago, while I was sitting in my high school creative writing class, I never would have thought that I would have one, let alone two, published works under my belt. At the time, it was simply a class I was taking in place of the science lab that had gotten canceled due to lack of interest. Editing in Progress!
My editors have just returned Dragon Guardian: Water to me, and I have begun taking stock of their corrections and making the necessary changes!

Meta Con 2015!!
I just registered for my table in Artist Alley for Meta Con!!
It’s my first time EVER attending a con as an exhibitor, so I can’t help but feel a little nervous, but I’m also COMPLETELY excited!!
I’ll be there for all 3 days of the convention (September 4th-6th) with copies of both my books, so if you live in or near Minnesota’s Twin Cities, please stop by and say “hi”! I will HAPPILY autograph any copies that you purchase!
