These Books Will Change Your Life - Pathologies by William Walsh and Wolf Parts by Matt Bell.

We are more travel. We are more read. And we are more small press love, though please note that today we are all Keyhole Press all the time. First up, Pathologies by William Walsh. The William Walsh does humor, pop culture and sex as well as anyone in this collection, but one thing we are always struck by regardless of what we're reading of his, is Walsh's almost restless curiosity, which always seems to pop off the page, all fertile, authentic and vibrant. We would add, that this is the...

These Books Will Change Your Life - One Damn Thing After Another by Tim Hall and How To Take Yourself Apart How To Make Yourself Anew by Aaron Burch.

We are travel. We are read. And we are small press love. First up, One Damn Thing After Another by Tim Hall and released by Outsider Writers Collective and Press. We know the Tim Hall and while the Tim Hall is a funny dude, the pieces in this collection reflect just how well he does humor. It also reflects something that is as Hallian as anything. Tim Hall is indie, and few people capture and dissect the indie scene and scenesters like him. We would add, that the opening piece in the...

"It almost validated everything I had ever gone through in my dating years." Most Likely gets TNBBC's The Next Best Book Blog'd. And likes it. A lot.

Big thanks to Lori Hettler and her crew at TNBBC's The Next Best Book Blog for their quite kinds words about Most Likely You Go Your Way and I'll Go Mine. They have been wonderful supporters of our work and we couldn't be more appreciative. Rock on Lori and drinks on us for sure when next we meet. In the interim, some excerpt.

"If you have ever wanted a front row seat to both sides of a dysfunctional romantic relationship, you cannot afford to pass up this book."

This Book Will Change Your Life - From Old Notebooks by Evan Lavender-Smith.

It is when we hit page 159 in this gathering of musings, fragments and notes and read "I seem to be assuming, in writing this book, there are people in this world who might actually care about what I think," that we knew what to write about the book itself. It is a tribute not only to the grandiosity of the writer, all writers, and the writer's belief that readers care about what they think, but the fact that we actually do care, and that we have to.

Masciotra. Friday Night Lights. Goodness.

It's no secret that we love the Masciotra. And it's certainly no secret that we love the Friday Night Lights. Now imagine what it might be like if the two were somehow mashed together. That would be pretty cool, yes? Yes. Enjoy.

Weigel. Tanzer. Brand. Fisk. Hodges. CCLaP. There will be reading.

It's true. The fine team at CCLaP is holding its first ever literary event and it is centered around the theme of urban decay and urban renewal. The line-up is quite stellar and we expect much fun to be had by all. We also look forward to seeing you there, so thanks in advance for coming out, we feel special, and loved, and what else can you ask for really? Nothing.

Schwartz PANK Monsters awesomeness.

We suggest you hit the PANK if you would like to see a quite awesome dissection of TBWCYL, Inc. favorite Peter Schwartz's most excellent chapbook Old Men, Girls and Monsters. We would add, that TBWCYL. Inc. spokersperson Ben Tanzer recently had the chance to interview Peter at the Orange Alert and we think it is quite sublime.
