This Book Will Change Your Life - Worlds Without End. And The Book House at Stuyvesant Plaza reading photo action.

We wanted take a moment say how much fun we had reading with upstate New York author and TBWCYL, Inc. favorite Glen Feulner at The Book House of Stuyvesant Plaza last week when we were in Albany. Rumors to the effect that the turnout may have been slight are probably accurate, but as we finally got to read at The Book House, much appreciated, and awesome, and meet Glen in person, most awesome, we are pretty thrilled with how things turned out. We also had the chance to obtain a copy of...

Truman Capote. Waldorf Salad. Cosmopolitans. Main Street Rag. A La Carte. And foodie madess.

We are most pleased to let you know that our story "Truman" is included in Main Street Rag's upcoming foodie anthology A La Carte. Our piece is both an homage to the New York Times Sunday Magazine's long-running foodie column, as well as, a look back on a long-ago dinner of Waldorf Salad and Cosmopolitans that TBWCYL, Inc. spokesperson Ben Tanzer had with an aging Truman Capote during his street hustling days. There are many fine writers gathered for this anthology, including long-time...

"This book was one of the best things I've read so far this year." Repetition Patterns gets Vinnie the Vole'd. And likes it. A lot.

We are most happy to let you know that Repetition Patterns got a really thoughtful review today from Chicago writer, fellow upstate New Yorker and TBWCYL, Inc. favorite Mark Brand and we most appreciate it. Please do take a look, please enjoy the below excerpt and definitely look out for our upcoming review of Mark's science fiction novel Red Ivy Afternoon. Cool? Cool.

"Anyway, for every father I know of young children, and every couple I know who grew up when I did and has seen the world...

The new edition of This Zine Will Change Your Life is live, requiring resuscitation and quite Fisk.

The new edition of This Zine Will Change Your Life is live, yet requiring resuscitation. Or something like that. We have a new story, Do Not Resuscitate by repeat offender Jason Fisk, which we are way excited about, and, as always, photo action from Adam Lawrence, a music selection from Jason Behrends and blocked economic stimulus love from Pete Anderson. We hope you enjoy this edition and we appreciate all shout-outs and links. Also, all submissions from this point forward are being managed...

Most Likely You Go Your Way and I'll Go Mine is The Reading List.

It is not entirely clear to us if you are sick of hearing TBWCYL, Inc. spokesperson Ben Tanzer's voice yet this week, but if you aren't, we want to share an excerpt from Most Likely You Go Your Way and I'll Go Mine Ben read for the the quite cool The Reading List which is based here in Chicago. There are a variety of cool writers on this site and we are much appreciative for the chance to join them. Please listen, please check out some of the other recordings and enjoy, you've earned it.
