The new edition of This Zine Will Change Your Life is live and crazy and all Kanev. Or something like that.

The new edition of This Zine Will Change Your Life is live and crazy. Or something like that. We have a new poem, big night in small room without stars by Peycho Kanev, which we are way excited about, and, as always, photo action from Adam Lawrence, a music selection from Jason Behrends and fundraiser prose love from Pete Anderson. We hope you enjoy this edition and we appreciate all shout-outs and links. Also, all submissions from this point forward are being managed via our good friends at...

Not that we're claiming we told you so, but we do think you heard it here first.

We have made no secret of our great affection for David Masciotra author of the fabulous Working on a Dream - The Progressive Political Vision of Bruce Springsteen, and while we could list the various reasons why, and no we are not just talking about his looks, one of the things we are convinced of, is that with the publication of this book we are seeing the birth of the next great public intellectual, a Douglas Brinkley or Cornell West. Well, we are happy to report that the movement to...

"I Loved Gunther Gebel" has been posterized.

You can now breathe a sigh of relief, "I Loved Gunther Gebel" has been turned into a kick-ass poster by the stellar team at CCLaP and we think its quite cool. We also think you are quite cool, so while we are not asking you to replace that totally rocking Jessica Alba poster on your office wall we do hope you will consider downloading this one. We think it just might change your life, though even if it doesn't, it definitely makes a most excellent, and cheap, DIY gift, which is also cool...

Ike Reilly does not "magic rat" it at Largehearted Boy.

We are most grateful that the ever on it Pete Anderson let us know about writer Steve Almond's recent interview with TBWCYL, Inc's favorite local musician Ike Reilly at the always fantastic Largehearted Boy. There are endlessly great exchanges in this piece, but we especially enjoyed Reilly's riff on "magic ratting" it when it comes to his songwriting and we have pasted that part of the interview below for your viewing pleasure. We would add, that TBWCYL, Inc. spokesperson Ben Tanzer was...

Check it out. Pathologies. A new William Walsh joint coming out from Keyhole Press.

Check it out, TBWCYL, Inc. favorite William Walsh has a new joint coming out from Keyhole Press titled Pathologies. We would be excited enough if William or Keyhole were up to anything new, but together, most sweet, plus, the excerpt being used to represent the collection is a story called Revision which originally appeared in This Zine Will Change Your Life, most sweet indeed.

Conquering Venus drops by TNBBC's The Next Best Book Blog and there is goodness.

We were most happy to see the fine crew at TNBBC's The Next Best Book Blog reviewing TBWCYL, Inc. favorite Collin Kelley's terrific novel Conquering Venus. If you are interested in listening to our podcast with Collin you may do so here and if you are interested in some excerpt from the review all you have to do is look below. There you go.

"Overall, an intense look at a world of which I was not overly familiar with. While I don't have much experience with Gay Lit, I do have a TON of...

"I Loved Gunther Gebel" is live. Way live.

Today launches our two-day Gunther Gebel love fest with the release of our story "I Loved Gunther Gebel" which is part of CCLaP's new TwitLit story series. The story is being released as a series of tweets today and tomorrow and can be followed on CCLaP's Twitter feed. We are assuming that you love Gunther Gebel as much as we do. We are also assuming that Gunther Gebel changed your life a much as he changed that of TBWCYL, Inc. spokesperson Ben Tanzer. It is Gunther Gebel after all. So...

"It reads almost like a meditation, or maybe a prose poem – a reflection perhaps." I Am Richard Simmons gets Baby Got Books'd. And likes it. A lot.

It is most cool to see Tim Frederick and the crew at the terrific Baby Got Books not only give a quite kind shout-out to I Am Richard Simmons, but riff on the existential nature of chapbooks in general. For some excerpt please see below and many thanks to Tim, et. al., drinks on us for sure when next we decamp to the Atlanta.

"Nothing left to do but read. And what is I Am Richard Simmons exactly? It's not a short story, and it's not poem. It reads almost like a meditation, or maybe a...
