Hey. folks! My, it's been a while since I've posted on this blog. But that doesn't mean I've been idle! Nope, in fact, I have a new minicomic availble that I co-wrote with Carol Dembicki ( Mr. Big ). Michael Auger (Magic Bullet, Trickster) illustrated it. It's about three nuns who are supernatural investigators. The book is for a mature readers. Copies are $3. You'll like it!

Bring paper!

My 8-year-old son is making a comic with some school pals. I found this note in his book bag. So making comics is not only teaching him to read, write and draw, it's also teaching him the basics of business!

A Favorite Read of 2012

Michael Cavna of Washington Post's "Comic Riffs" starts his Favorite Reads of 2012 with..."District Comics!" And I love the lead: “'DISTRICT COMICS' was an idea born of beer."

Signed books at Big Planet Comics

We had a great time today at Big Planet Comics on U Street in Washington, D.C., signing copies of District Comics: An Unconventional History of Washington, D.C. That's contributing artist Mal Jones (below) checking out the book. BTW, Big Planet has a few extra signed copies of the book, which would make a great gift for the upcoming holidays. Just sayin'....:)
