*Mom left me home alone for umpteen hours today while she went to the dentist. I couldn't sleep the whole time she was gone. I was so afraid she wouldn't be home to feed me my dinner.

Some Rare Accountability for A Fake Literary Agency Operation - Writer Beware (R)

Panzer says, Always do the right thing. Always do the right thing.
Today Panzer went to the Writer Beware (R) site. There our traveling kitty boy found a post about a fake literary agency.
Victoria Strauss's post contains information about a Philippines company which was shut down by authorities. Employees of the company filed complaints with authorities about the company's illegal activities. The post also asks employees at other fake  agencies to file complaints against those companies as well.
Panzer says, "Just shows the bad guys do get caught some times."
Note: This is a medium length post. Bring a cup of tea and two chocolate chip cookies (biscuits) to snack on while you read.

Exclusive: Authors Guild to offer "Human Authored" label to compete with AI - Marketplace

Panzer says, It's not easy being this smart in the human world. It's not easy being this smart in the human world.
Today in his Catosphere travels Panzer found an interesting post at the Marketplace site about the Authors Guild.
According to Matt Levin's post, the Authors Guild will offer members a certificate/logo to put on their book covers which states "Human Authored." Readers will then know the book is not AI Authored.
Panzer says, "It's a good thing I dictate to Mom or we wouldn't be able to use the new label. Get it? Our books are Cat Authored."
Note:This is a medium length post. It's also available as an audio by clicking the Listen Now button in the left corner under the post author's name. Bring a cup of tea and a large muffin for today's snack for while you read or listen.
