Today's trip into the Catosphere took Panzer to the Publishing ... and Other Forms of Insanity site. There our traveling pilot kitty found a list of writing conferences and workshops for you.
 Erica Verrillo lists 18 conferences and workshops which have start dates in November. They cover a wide spectrum of writing centered topics from the writing craft to the writing business.
 Panzer says, "Some of these have a deadline or start date of November 1 so you'll need to hurry to register."
 Note: With 18 conferences and workshops this is a long-medium length list. Bring a cup of tea and a muffin to snack on while you read.

Amazon first color Kindle has arrived - About Amazon Blog

It does look good.
Today Panzer made a stop at the Amazon blog. There he found a post about the newest member of the Kindle family.
The blog post says the Kindle Colorsoft Signature Edition has a 7 inch color display and a battery that has an 8 week charge life. It's available now for pre-order with an October 30 ship date. There's a link included in the post to the Amazon store to see the new Kindle and it's specs.
 Panzer says, "Now for the important stuff: the new Kindle is available for $270.00; the USB charger is $19.99 and/or the wireless charging dock is $39.99; and the covers are $36.99 to $69.99."
