Judge Gives Preliminary Approval to Anthropic Settlement - Publishers Weekly

Anthropic copyright infringement lawsuit settlement Back to my nap.Panzer was shaken from his kitty bed by clapping and cheering coming from the Catosphere. Jumping in the Panzermobile, he followed all the jubilation to the Publishers Weekly site. There he found a post by Jim Milliot which explains the judge in the Anthropic copyright infringement lawsuit issued a preliminary approval of the settlement in the case. Panzer says, "Don't get too excited humans. This is a preliminary approval, so don't run out and buy a new car or a new house yet." Note: This is a long-medium length post. Petrona Award Shortlist 2025: Best Scandinavian Crime Novel of the Year - Mystery Fanfare

There he discovered the shortlist for the Petrona Award. Janet Rudolph lists the seven novels remaining in the competition for Best Scandinavian Crime Novel. Panzer says, "The winner will be announced on October 16." Note: This is a short post. The 50,000 Booker Prize for Fiction's 2025 Shortlist - Publishing Perspectives

Winner announced November 10.Panzer stopped in at the Publishing Perspectives site today. There our inquisitive kitty found a post about the Booker Prize for Fiction. According to Porter Anderson's post, the shortlist of the six books remaining in competition have been announced. The post contains several links of which one is a link to view the announcement. Panzer says, "It's the first time they've done the announcement live like this." Note: This is a very long post. See how small the authors involved number is?In Panzer's travels in the Catosphere today he stopped at the Publishers Weekly site. There our traveling kitty boy found new information about the Anthropic copyright case. Jim Milliot reports in his post the authors' and publishers' attorneys have submitted more information to the judge in the case. The post includes several links to other information about the case. Panzer says,  "This little kitty told you earlier this month the judge wouldn't accept the settlement without more information." Note: This is a long medium length post.
