The $75,000 Cundill History Prize Name a 2025 Shortlist - Publishing Perspectives

I wonder if the feline history qualifies.On a quick stop by Panzer at the Publishing Perspectives site he discovered the shortlist for the Cundill History Prize. Porter Anderson's post has the complete eight book shortlist. On September 30 the list will be cut to three finalists and on October 30 the winner will be announced. Panzer says, "$75,000 will buy a lot of kitty treats."  Note: This is a long post. Collective and Co-op Publishers Find Strength in Numbers - Publishers Weekly

They're helping each other.On his way home through the Catosphere Panzer stopped in at the Publishers Weekly site.There our traveling kitty boy found a post about indie publishers. According to Nathalie op de Beeck's post, small and indie publishers are forming collectives and co-ops. It helps them work together and survive in the big publishing atmosphere.  Panzer says, "This little kitty didn't know they're doing this." Note: This is a very long post.
