Sarah Jayne Carr is a novelist who can be found most evenings with a cup of tea in-hand and her her imagination tormenting many characters. When away from the computer, part of her mind is always brainstorming her next story, and she tries to keep writing utensils within reach. Watch out. If paper isn’t nearby, she may scribble upon the nearest person’s forehead.

She wrote stories as a child, but became more serious about her passion during her twenties. In her spare time, she likes to read, draw, splash in mud puddles, smell bookstores, and eat Honeycrisp apples.

Sarah Jayne has participated in eight NaNoWriMos and has mentored others through the program. Due to her dedication to National Novel Writing Month, she has made many friends through an amazing writing group.

Since August of 2012, Sarah Jayne has proudly been a part of Crushing Hearts and Butterfly Publishing. To date, she has multiple stories published within her flourishing JackRabbit7 series. Additionally, her budding Grim Reaper series was recently picked up by Vamptasy Publishing.

Feature Author and Book Feature Josephine Ballowe

Josephine’s first foray into sexy reads began with “Flowers in the Attic” when she was 12. From that moment on it was a like she found the Tree of Knowledge and couldn’t climb it fast enough.

Josephine is married to an all around wonderful man who tries to keep secret what his wife really writes and publishes. She also has two young boys and an almost human yellow lab who is her best friend.

When not penning steamy reads, Josephine spends her spare time volunteering at her children’s school and raising awareness for Turning Point, a counseling center for women experiencing Domestic Abuse.

On a personal note, Josephine has SEVERE OCD and cannot stand a dirty kitchen – she like to always be prepared for guests and adores entertaining.

Her favorite words of wisdom from her wonderful Southern grandmother are “There is nothing that red lipstick and some high heels can’t fix.”

Shy and reserved Julieanne Lynch is an author of urban fantasy books for both adults and teens. Julieanne lives in Northern Ireland, with her husband and five children, where she works on her Shadows World novels and other series full-time. Before becoming a writer, she considered a few different career paths, a rock star being one of them. She studied English Literature and Creative Writing at The Open University, and considered journalism as a career path. However, she decided writing was the way for her and is thankful for each day she lives her dream.

I am a simple person leading a simple life just like you.

I live in a small town (population 1200) in Wisconsin. From my deck I can see the Mississippi River on one side and the bluffs, where eagles live, on the other side. I live with my husband Dave and my dog Sammy. Our two children are grown and one has children of her own (which makes me a grandmother) and for that fact I am blessed. I love people and while I worked for awhile I was lucky to be a stay at home Mom and then when the time came I was a stay at home grandmom.

I’ve been writing for awhile now and I find it’s rewarding. I love to create characters and put them in a troubling situation and just sit back and let them do all the work. They surprise even me at times. They take on a life of their own and the twists and turns

become a story.

I tried writing romance but I found I liked mystery/thrillers the best. I like to keep my readers guessing until the very end of the book. But that’s just me…

My thoughts:

This is the first book I have read by the author and what a wonderful read it was. Rachel had me gripped from the first chapter. A nurse with a great vision on how to help patients with cancer and who had diabetes herself. One thing she did not count on was Storm her patients twin brother.

Storm doesn’t know how to act when he see Rachel again they both stare at each other in aww. The opening scene is a must read you will be laughing out loud. I don’t want to spoil it by saying more here but this book is a winner. If you want a heart warming romance this is the book for you. You will have a hard time putting this book down.

My thoughts:

Lexy is trying her best to get Will Tanner back to her home to Houston to prove that she can do the job. What she wasn’t counting on was falling in love in with the cowboy or finding out what a big heart he has. With obstacles in the way can this work for the both of them and they be happy? The story is wonderful and the author does a wonderful job grabbing the reader. The characters interact well and the story takes hold and you don’t want to put the book down.

My thoughts:

What a hot read of two great stories. I could not put this book down. Both stories are written pretty well and have some BDSM. The characters in well written and each story draws you in and keeps you there until the very end. Molly and Chance knew each other a long time ago but the timing was not right. Now that they are older the love sizzles.

Jessie and Kyle meet when she’s forced to arrest the famous rodeo star for drunk and disorderly behavior one evening. The ride Kyle has in mind is a lot long than 8 seconds.

A great book by a great author.

My thoughts:

There are four heart warming stories in this book.  A Cowboy Unmatched by Karen Witemeyer, An Unforseen Match by Regina Jennings,  No Match for Love by Carol Cox, and Mary Connealy’s Meeting Her Match.  Each story was unique of course and full of romance. I did not feel any of the stories were rushed.  What I loved about the stories and each one was helped by person who was trying to get them love.  A fun read that anyone would love.
