On Childhood Wisdom

I know I’ve been talking about the Venice residency for the Alma College MFA in Creative writing, but don’t forget if you’re not ready yet for a two-year degree program, you can still join me in the idyllic countryside of Italy for ���The Write of Your Life��� ��� A one week writers retreat. We stay at the luxurious Hotel Villa Margherita in Mira and tour Venice and its lovely countryside.

The Ephemeral Nature of Big Events
And it’s a wrap! Our winter residency at Alma College MFA in Creative Writing is done. For this morning’s walk, before I leave the Ralph A. MacMullan Conference Center on Higgins Lake and the pines of northern Michigan, a few thoughts on big events and the passing of time.
