In way over my head!

Okay, I'm in way over my head. While researching some of my odd health symptoms I've stumbled upon things like MTHFR and Salicylate,  Amine, and Sulfur intolerances. There's just so much to learn. It sounds like for some of these problems certain 'pathways' aren't working properly in the body. For some of the other problems, certain enzymes might not be being made.

I'm skipping ahead to liver detoxification. I know if 'pathways' are broken, detoxing the liver won't fix that, but what about the enzyme deficiencies? The liver produces enzymes, right? Maybe if the liver is sluggish everything else starts to break down?

I have more questions than answers at this point but at least I am starting to learn why healthy foods like ferments and eggs make me so incredibly stiff, especially my neck. Wow! It will be nice to actually fix some of these issues.

Have you every done any type of liver detox? What can you tell me about it? Did it help? And if so what did it help exactly?

Christmas is just around the corner!

It always seems like it's too early to start Christmas shopping until December, but once December is here it's already almost too late!!

I just order a couple of books on CreateSpace (12/1) for gifts and the expected arrival date in December 18th! I'm glad I didn't procrastinate any longer. I don't like the stress of having orders arriving the day before Christmas, Dec. 18th is cutting it plenty close for me.

If you have any paperbacks you want to order for gifts (maybe even copies of The Scinegue Series ; >) ) You're going to want to get on that pretty soon. I'm not sure if Amazon is shipping any faster than CreateSpace or not, but I'd hate to risk it!

Test Covers!

Well, what do you think? The original covers are on the right-hand side of the page so you can compare. Is something simple and easy to read more eye-catching than the old versions?

I'm so excited to have a chance to share this story with some new readers. Check it out, and if you like it, come back for the rest of the series! Or you can save a bit of money by purchasing the trilogy.

Saving Will - New Work in Process (WIP)

Saving Will - Chapter 1, paragraph 1
“I am not your friend!” The words exploded out in the staccato lecturer’s voice that irritated Jessie more than almost anything else I was known to do. And I did a lot that irritated my some days oh-so-typical teenage daughter.  “I am your mother!”

First chapter of my WIP. What is your opinion on reading first person point of view? I know some people love it while some hate it. I'm having fun writing in it for now, it really keeps me from head hopping from character to character.

Dogs With Itchy, Yeasty Ears

Our dogs are mutts. Pure and simple. But they are wonderful and we want to give them the best lives possible. One of our dogs developed a stinky, itchy, irritated ear. It was red and had dark red 'gunk' in it and boy did it stink!

A little blurry. She didn't want to sit still.

I tried lots of different natural remedies for that infected ear, but nothing worked! Until now. I ordered NutriBiotic Ear Drops without much hope but one of the reviews on the iHerb site said the person used this for their dog's ears and it worked. Well, you know what? It's working for our dog, too!

After 3 days I could tell her ear was getting better! I forgot to use it for a couple of days (bad me!) but have been using it once a day for about a full week now and her ear is MUCH better! The reddish brown gunk is going away. Her ear is barely irritated, and it's not bothering her nearly as much!!

I'm so excited to find something that's actually working that I couldn't wait to share it. I can't tell you with absolute certainty yet that it's going to clear our dog's ear up completely. But I really think it will. It's getting close already!

This is the link where I bought it: http://www.iherb.com/NutriBiotic-Ear-...

You can use my code to save $10 on your first order if you're new to iHerb: HER589

Where ever you want to buy this is fine with me. Just buy it! If your dog wis suffering as much as ours was, I think it will be well worth it. Oh, yeah, it's pretty cheap too. $4.19 at iHerb. Free shipping if you spend $40 (I think it's $40.)

Please let me know how it works for you and I'll update on here when Nova's ear is all better.

I better add this isn't medical advice, just what I'm using for my dog. ; >)

Halloween

Looking for something that's a little on the creepy side without being downright scary? The Scinegue Series has lots of suspense and even some possessions and demons! Now don't forget these books aren't intended to scare, they're just intended to touch on possibilities. Far out possibilities perhaps, but possibilities just the same.

Update for Scinegue (The Secret) Available Now!

Just FYI for any of you who have an early version of The Secret (formerly Scinegue, book 1 in The Scinegue Series) Amazon has made an update available with the newest cover and some editing changes. Actually, if you bought the book when it first came out, the entire first chapter has changed!

If you would like the newest version, log into your account on Amazon then go to Manage Your Content and Devices (Under your account.) Scroll down until you see Scinegue and click the update button to the right. I just did it and it was very easy!

(Since The Secret is free right now, it might be even easier to delete your old copy, then download the new version. I plan to keep it free at least through November 13th, I'll reevaluate after that.)
