Ever since you left
I’ve been doing everything
that I possibly can
to scrub off the feeling
of your skin against mine.
But no matter
how many times
I’ve tried to
wash you off of me,
my body just ends up
being more irritated
than ever.

The first time
I met you,
I wanted you.

The second time
you made love to me,
I needed you.

The last time
you said goodbye,
I knew that I
was better off
without you.

This poem is about
loving someone
who will never seem
to love you back.
I know that you
understand the feeling
of someone
being inside of your head
and you never
entering the one you
love the most thoughts.
Isn’t it a damn shame
to have someone
consume your every
action, while they are
not even paying
attention to the way
you speak when they
are around.
Your heart always
forgets to work
when they say your name,
and when they touch you,
even for a moment,
your heart forgets
what it was meant to do.
This is a poem
about loving someone
who will never
love you back.
A shredded mess
of words that will
never come out right.

stop posting pictures of yourself

I would, but I got this lil thing back called confidence, so I’m taking advantage of it before it goes away again.

I’m not waiting for you anymore.I’ve spent far too much timestaying inside of this...

I’m not waiting for you anymore.
I’ve spent far too much time
staying inside of this place
that has done nothing for me
but make my insides feel as if
they are withering away.
I cannot do this anymore.
This thing that you call love.
What you consider love,
I consider heartache,
and I don’t think that there is
enough room in my head
to keep you in my thoughts
for another moment.

I’m trying to put the pieces
that are our love
back together. But there are
too many missing parts
for me to be able to
repair it properly.
So I guess there are
some things that we should
go over before I start
to mend a situation
that is not supposed to be
touched in the first place.
