Spoiler-Proof

The phrase “spoiler alert” is so commonplace these days that I heard it used several times this past weekend by girls attending my daughter’s 10th birthday party. Spoiler alert: I think spoiler alerts are unnecessary.

But when it’s done, it’s done.

I can’t say how excited I am to have you read it. It’s my first, and I love it, and I’ve had such a great response from parts 1 and 2. I think you’ll like the end. It fits.

I Know They’re Not Zombies. That’s the Point.

WithThe Oasis of Filth, I have —perhaps annoyingly —broken one of the most revered traditions of zombie fiction: I use the word ‘zombie.’ And I actually use it a lot. But at least I did it on purpose.

Oh crap, I actually did it.

I finished The Oasis of Filth. I wrote an ending. It’s now out of my hands and with the editorial team (a bunch of friends and family who offer advice; most notably, the esteemed Mr. Christopher Durso, aka the C-Dog, who provides full-on editing, as well as occasional inappropriate sportswear suggestions).

I feel awful.

And I feel… INCREDIBLE.
