What People Share on Social Networks (Infographic)
One of the most common questions I get about social media is “What the heck do I say?” I frequently talk to authors that are new to the whole social media scene and are intimidated by this unfamiliar world. My first piece of advice is to be yourself. Readers are interested in authors as real people, but it is also important share branded information.
I stumbled across the infographic below and thought it was a great idea generator. See if it can help you with some ideas!

How to Increase Instagram Engagement (Infographic)
Instagram is a platform that I don’t spend much time on. It’s certainly on my list of social media platforms to master, but I wouldn’t consider myself a master yet!
Not only is Instagram considered to be a platform that is popular with the YA crowd, (37% of the online 18 to 29 year olds use it) but it is one of the most rapidly growing social media platforms. As you can see in the infographic below, it has 15X the engagement of Facebook and 40X the engagement of Twitter.
Have a read through the stats put together in the infographic below promoted by QuickSprout and see what you can learn.
See you on Instagram!
