REVIEW: Suzy Ayers: Master-bation, At Sir's Command

At forty or so pages, this is quite a short read, but hot, hot, HOT, all the same. In my honest opinion, and it sounds weird, but there’s too much sex. For the first part of a series, (the Torn series) I’d have liked to get to grips with Serena and Max’s characters. Ayers does place some intriguing snippets here and there, especially from Max’s point of view, but I’d like to know more. I get that it’s erotica, but from start to finish, it’s the lifestyle and Serena reveling in it. And while that’s great, I think I’d like to know more about Serena and why she’s actually entered the world of BDSM, when it’s so out of her safety zone. But I guess that’s going to come with each part that is released.

This is sex, at its finest. Well-written, creative. I expected hardcore BDSM from the cover art, but it wasn’t. Sure, there was some BDSM play and obviously this is leading on to a more hardcore Dom/sub lifestyle, but it wasn’t offputting. I didn’t appreciate Max’s calling Serena ‘slut’. I know, I know, it’s part of the scene. But I just didn’t like it. Especially as the sex wasn’t the aforementioned hardcore BDSM. It seemed derogatory… weird, I guess. Maybe that’s just me.

As the novella’s title suggests, this is good fodder for you know what! But for a one-off read, I need a bit more punch. However, fair do’s. Easily deserves 4 stars.

So, after the excitement from yesterday’s release of...

ALL THAT GLITTERS… MAY BE BISCUITS!

So, after the excitement from yesterday’s release of All That Glitters…, I couldn’t help myself! I had to spend some time in the kitchen to de-stress! Don’t ask me why, but baking does that. Nuts, I know! But it really works for me. :)

And today, even though I’m on a diet, I had to go all American. I’m British by the way, if peeps didn’t know that. But I’ve seen and read enough to hear about Biscuits with Sausage Gravy; so I made it!

And from scratch! :D

So, here’s my non-traditional, but super scrummy and semi-low calorific biscuit recipe, if you’d like to try it out. ;)

So, firstly, preheat your oven to 230 degrees.

Mix:

85g white flour

1 tsp baking powder

1 tsp sugar

pinch of salt

pinch of black pepper

Add to a saucepan:

1 tsp brown mustard seeds

1 tsp nigella seeds

Once toasted, grind in a pestle and mortar and add to the dry ingredients.

Then, add to the mixture:

40ml olive oil (I used extra virgin)

80ml semi-skimmed milk

Once homogenized, you get kind of a wet dough. Separate them out into portions and place them in a greased baking tray. They yield 10 small biscuits. Bake for 11 minutes. Or until brown. My oven is quite temperamental. ;)

Not the most healthiest and lowest calorific meal, but I figure they’re about 350 calories for 5 :) If you make, enjoy.

Although, I’m sure you’ll enjoy my series of erotic novellas a whole lot more ;)

Part three of the Naughty Nookie series is currently under review by Amazon, so hopefully, in 12 hours, All That Glitters will be live for people to buy and read and even better, enjoy! :D

Even though this is the third time I’ve self-published something, I can’t deny, the nerves never go away! But, what keeps you going, are the reviews. Negative ones, of which I haven’t had any (Thank God) although some criticism - push you down and the good ones, well, they lift you to the top and remind you why you’re doing this.

Fall Into Love received two reviews recently, one stating:

I loved the humor she brought to the story, and the fact that it didn’t have a foo-foo-sugary-sweet ending. And that there was a story behind the erotica.

To my regular readers, I just want to say sorry! I’ve abandoned you, but I...

APOLOGIES…

To my regular readers, I just want to say sorry! I’ve abandoned you, but I have good reason. I promise. A nasty fall and a few weeks later, I’m back on track. Thanks to my handy dictaphone, I’ve managed to write part four of the Naughty Nookie series, whose title has yet to be released!! But I’ve scribbled and scribbled (or in this case, chatted and chatted to the wall as my dictaphone listened) and the story is on the brink of completion after having transcribed it! What a nightmare that was, lol. But regardless, woohoo as this one is a full length novel!

All That Glitters will be live on Friday; it’s been edited and proofread and forged into shape and, the complex lives of Mona and Zane will start to take further shape for the readers… Complicated has never been so hot!

Of that, I promise you!

So, my apologies, guys and gals, but I’m back!! Hope you enjoyed the silence, while it lasted. LOL.
