It’s Day 4 of the Took My Breath Away Book Blog Tour and I’m excited to be on Serena’s blog. If you miss any days of the book blog tour, you can find links to them here.
For those who don’t know me – I write M/F and M/M erotica and erotic romance. Took My Breath Away is the second in the All They Ever Needed series. Logan and Christian are two of my favorite characters that I have written. They are strong, with great senses of humor, and had an instant attraction to one another in the first book All They Ever Needed. Now, they are moving to a deeper level in their relationship, moving just beyond their ‘spanking is erotic’ mindset and into the realm of ‘domestic discipline – what will that mean to us’ phase.

How about an EXCERPT? Families can be the best and the most stressful things we have. Just ask Christian who just came back from a rather loud family dinner.
“How was dinner, Ba—” Logan’s words stopped as he saw him. “Holy fuck. What happened?”
Groaning, Christian just walked over to the sofa and collapsed next to him, leaning his head on Logan’s shoulder. “Tonight all the skeletons escaped the closets.”
“What does that mean?” Logan asked, maneuvering him so that Christian’s head was on Logan’s lap and he was combing through Christian’s hair with his fingers.
“Turns out Brian smoked marijuana in college, he cheated on Chelsea several times before they got married, he has two illegitimate children, and he threatened someone to get his first pastor position. On the flip side, Derrick has a cock piercing, and he and Jane have an open relationship.” A little gurgle escaped Christian’s lips. “He considers himself heteroflexible and has been with men before. And he also has an illegitimate child, but her mother is someone he has sex with quite often, and both he and Jane adore the little girl. Her name is Aurora and she is two years old.”
“Holy shit,” Logan murmured. “How’s your momma?”
Grinning as Logan had begun referring to her that way lately, Christian shrugged. “She was stunned, but she is a strong Southern woman. She sent both of them to their rooms without dessert, after demanding to meet her grandchildren, and then asked Dad why they’d never instituted corporal punishment because her sons were not the boys she raised.”
“Baby, that is a lot to hear in one night. How did it all just come out?”
“Derrick was trying to get Brian to stop making snide comments about you and me, and threatened to out him on everything. Well… everything came out anyway. At least I hope it did. I hate to think there is more shit out there we don’t know about.”

Christian has regained some of his old self-esteem and is taking on new challenges. Besides growing in the relationship he has with Logan, he takes the time his boyfriend is away to learn more about domestic discipline. He learns a little online but it is actually Gregory, Logan’s father, where he gains most of his information. Including the fact that his natural strength puts him in a leadership position he isn’t expecting.
When Logan returns to a strong, self-assured Christian, it is with complete relief. As discussions turn to domestic discipline and they realize their true roles within their current and future relationship, both of them are able to let their inhibitions go and together their connection grows surprising Logan to an epiphany.

ABOUT THIANNA
For Thianna D, reading and writing are as important as breathing and far more important than math or science.
