AUTHOR SPOTLIGHT: MALANA ASHLIE

THE THREADED GEM ADVENTURE

It was a flip of the calendar page that brought the shocking realization. In just six months Malana would be sitting with only her husband, cat, and dog during a momentous event in her life. She had moved to the north Caribbean Coast of Honduras a few years before, hundreds of miles away from family and friends. For the first time in years, no one was coming to visit and her credit card balance had her grounded.

The Threaded Gem Adventure is a fascinating guide filled with life wisdom and ‘How-To’ photographs. It is also a story of how Malana used beads to resolve issues of separation and create one-ness with family and friends for an important moment in her life. It is a joyful adventure in healing the heart, as her project evolves into a journey of self-awareness. The Threaded Gem Adventure guides readers through steps in creating their own extraordinary lifetime keepsake. A masterful creation that becomes a connector, strengthening bonds with the special people in your life.

“There are many things that separate people, yet there are as many that can bring them together.”M.A.

ABOUT MALANA ASHLIE

Visionary, Earth keeper, inner-faith minister, naturopath doctor and holistic counselor - Malana Ashlie has been a student of subtle energy and traditional cultures for more than twenty years. She is the author of three nonfiction books; her award winning, Gringos in Paradise: Our Honduras Odyssey, The Threaded Gem Adventure and soon to be published, Shift: A Pathway to Peace. Each of her writings draws on the wealth of knowledge these experiences have awarded her.

Dr. Malana currently lives in the beach community of El Porvenir, Honduras with her husband. She travels widely teaching workshops and retreats that incorporate ancient wisdom into modern life.

The first part of the highly-rated Naughty Nookie series, with over fifteen 5 star reviews on Goodreads and eight on Amazon.com, Fall Into Love is the start of something big… it’s the catalyst of a bigger, better and brighter life for the central character, Simone.

Check out her story, for free, on Goodreads, Smashwords and on my website. Links below.

When Simone Barranquet meets Zane Matthews on a night out with her friends, little does she know that her life is about to change.

Crashing into Zane, her mundane existence is teetering on the edge. A whole new world of sexual exploration awaits her, if she’s willing to take a leap of faith in a man she doesn’t know who leads a life she can’t understand.

Gawd, that this even has to be written down is astounding. Is the idea of consent really so damned difficult a concept to understand? Christ Almighty!!!

We do forget our inner strength, forget what we’re capable of… Maybe that’s to stop us from getting big-headed? :P

We are like the little branch that quivers during a storm, doubting our strength and forgetting we are the tree - deeply rooted to withstand all life’s upheavals by BK on Flickr.
