My friend Joy's son doesn't care if the lights are out. He's going to read The Big Book of Boy Stuff no matter what!
Here's how I imagine his preparation went:

Okay, the word "beau" means girlfriend or boyfriend. And when I use my phone's voice recognition, it always changes "beau" to "butt". 
This leads to interesting text messages, like "I hope you and your butt have a happy new year."
