Bad Ideas: Handheld Cannons?!

It really IS a cannon...it uses gunpowder! (Cool music, though!)

Things I Did Not Know

I did not know that New Mexico looks a lot like Texas...

Or that high heels can have shoelaces!

The Brontësaurus! (pudding not included)

In 19th century England, three sisters defied convention and became novelists. Even more astoundingly, the three sisters each had important novels published in 1847, namely:

Charlotte Brontë— Jane Eyre
Emily Brontë— Wuthering Heights
Anne Brontë— Agnes Grey
And now, see their tale told as it's never been told before— with action figures!

It's ridiculous how little time I have to throw new postings your way. You should see how many good ideas I have! Oh well, thanks for your patience...I'll have something someday!

My Hero: Franco Brambilla

Franco Brambilla is an artist who collects vintage postcards. Then he starts monkeying with them until he adds just the right science-fiction twist! There's a good slide show of them here, or you can just go to his website through the link above.

Errors Were Never More Harmonious!

PC error tones can constitute their own musical form!

But since I use a Mac, I'll just have to gaze wistfully from afar. :(

What are you doing this weekend? What about Tuesday? Huh? Huh?

If you live in the Portland metro area, I'll be at KidsFest Northwest at the Portland Expo this weekend (April 24-25). It runs Saturday (10-6) and Sunday (10-5). I have just three words to say about KidsFest: Experience the magic!

And on Tuesday (April 27), I'll be at Powell's Books at Cedar Hills Crossing at 7:00 PM talking about The Big Book of Gross Stuff. (Here's the Powell's events calendar.)
