Pancake Pillows!

Perfect for reading on, provided you keep the maple syrup away from them. (From here.)

Rubber Book Shelves? Okay...

I guess this obviates the need for bookends.

Ooh, I used the word "obviates"!

From here.

Why do I need a dress code if I work at home?

Crazy control-freak dress code, shop, Caesar's Palance, Las Vegas, NV, USA.jpg by gruntzooki

My office manage insists I sign a copy of this fashion "contract." What a rip-off! Sure, I dress in a Neo-Bourgeois style normally, but I don't like being told it's MANDATORY. (Photo by gruntzooki.)

What's so special about the Haskell Free Library and Opera House?

Haskell Free Library and Opera House by cmerlo441

The building is on both sides of the border between Vermont (USA) and Quebec (Canada).

So according to Futility Closet, the "library's front door
is in the United States, but the circulation desk and all of the books are in
Canada. Opera is performed on a Canadian stage before an American audience.
Hence it's the only library in the U.S. with no books, the
only opera house in the U.S. with no stage, and the only library in Canada with
no entrance

You know what, competitive bicyclists? Enough!

As if steroids and blood-doping weren't bad enough, now you have to go and do this? (From the National Post .)

These students in Chile are demanding a better education.

But I really don't know why

the duck is there.

"Baby Massage for Dummies"?

Maybe THAT'S why my dad was doing when he threw me in the river and yelled:

"Swim! Or sink. Whatever."

(You know, it might be my imagination, but doesn't that baby look a little . . . diabolical?)
