Coming out of the Dark

Now that PROTOTYPE is out of my hands, and I have no immediate deadlines looming on the horizon, I imagined a nice, long, peaceful vacation. And it’s the perfect time of year for that, because September is inevitably the month I end up with no creative drive. #BBF2013 Wrap-up, otherwise known as *crashes hard*

I survived the Baltimore Book Festival! 3 days, 3 panels, an entire case of ARCHETYPE, book covers, and business cards later…

…I’m never getting out of my pajamas again.

The Future of #ARCHETYPE

I didn’t set out to write “science fiction” when I started writing Archetype. What I did want to write was what I love, and I adore futuristic movies set on Earth. Most of the movies I loved are corny as hell now, but there were a pretty decent amount made in the 80’s/90’s that enthralled me.

It’s no surprise that my favorite Back to the Future movie was the 2nd one because Marty spent half the movie in the future. I don’t hate Arnold even a little bit. Stallone in the future is pretty badas...
